04:46 Speaker C
We got Mr. Mike Sims in the building. Mike, what's going on, bro?

04:49 Speaker A
Everything's fantastic, man. Pleasure to be here, bro.

04:58 Speaker C
It took a while.

04:59 Speaker A
Yeah, it did. Mike seems your schedule so busy, man, so I'm just happy you able to squeeze me in.

05:14 Speaker C
Yeah, right. I text Mike something, and then he texts me back something in Spanish or.

05:25 Speaker B
Something, man.

05:52 Speaker C
Speak Spanish?

05:52 Speaker A
A little.

05:57 Speaker C
But you text it?

05:59 Speaker A
Yeah. I'm getting better.

06:06 Speaker B
David goftish.

06:14 Speaker A
I'm getting better. That's one of the things that I'm disappointed in myself about, because before the pandemic, I was diligent in my studies in Spanish every day, really? Tutor in Bogota, Colombia. And we did zoom at least three days a week, sometimes every day.

06:58 Speaker A
And I was learning Spanish because I was doing a lot of business in Latin America, and you want to be able to communicate and not use or rely on a translator all the time. When the pandemic started, when we couldn't go anywhere, instead of locking in and focusing, I got distracted, started trying to find other things to do because I was bored making moves and business from the phone or whatever, and that didn't stay consistent on my Spanish lessons.

07:57 Speaker A
And then, of course, when I wasn't traveling to Latin America anymore, I got inconsistent. I've forgotten a lot of it, but I'm sorry to get it back now because I started back using in practice. Friends that speak Spanish. When they text me, they're texting me in Spanish, and so I better be it out real quick.

08:45 Speaker C
Okay. Yeah.

08:46 Speaker A
That was a cool mistake.

08:48 Speaker B
I was so more David.

08:58 Speaker A
I got to learn by the end of this year. The end of this year. I want to be conversational. It's a while to be fluent, but I want to be able to get my point across or at least be able to communicate. Kind of like when someone can't speak English but you can understand what they're saying even though they're skipping words.

09:32 Speaker B
Mr. Zamaniki and affair. Masalanda has manzusha and the hall. But.

09:51 Speaker A
Where bathroom?

09:57 Speaker B
Where bathroom? Where is the bathroom.

10:12 Speaker A
Exactly? Do you have food? So I'm not going to be fluent, but I want to at least be conversational to the point where somebody can understand what I'm trying to say.

10:30 Speaker B
What's your reasoning for learning Spanishan? So batosh negarish Hamidas in juste.

10:54 Speaker A
Number one, why not? You want to continue to learn and better yourself. Living in the US. Now, having a home in Miami, you need to learn Spanish. I mean, it's becoming more and more of a melting pot. I do a lot of business in Latin America. Less people you're doing business with know that you're serious about them because you took the time to learn their language, and so that's another reason. And then, of course, the challenge of it itself.

11:59 Speaker A
Again, I'm disappointed in myself. I didn't stay consistent.

12:11 Speaker B
Consistent. Namundam.

12:13 Speaker A
And even more disappointed that I didn't take it seriously in high school. Because I took two years of Spanish in high school, and I would still be in Spanish right now if it weren't for some people sitting around me. Right. Peripheral vision. But I just did stay consistent. So it's always been something I wanted to do. No reason not to. And now with the world becoming so much smaller, I think it's important. Spanish is a good language. Yeah.

12:57 Speaker C
Hold me accountable, man, because I want.

12:59 Speaker B
To keep hold me accountable.

13:08 Speaker A
I kind of want to learn Spanish.

13:09 Speaker C
Too, just for getting, like, for the challenge of it. Yeah, I want to learn that.

13:15 Speaker A
But here's the thing, okay? No, it's something that it's like anything else that you do in life or business, you got to decide to do it. And I'm making so many excuses because in the back of my mind, in my subconscious mind, I know when I.

13:47 Speaker B
Get to push the Zehano Gohe man in Shakria.

13:58 Speaker A
Latin America, no matter what country it is, I know someone who speaks English and.

14:08 Speaker B
To know.

14:13 Speaker A
In Spanish. So I'm not forced to learn it because I know I got a crutch.

14:24 Speaker B
Support crutch, any kiski posh. I thought that's me has some job, be a crush. Study that.

14:38 Speaker A
So when I started in business years ago, there was no crutch. There was no bridge to return back to. There was no outlet. And so I was forced to make it happen, learn I need to do or be successful. And so I've got to start treating Spanish like that. Just tell my friends, like, hey, don't.

15:04 Speaker B
Help me do something.

15:11 Speaker A
Unless you see me about to die. Something, but don't help me. Let me learn Spanish and just take it seriously and make that decision to go ahead and do it.

15:28 Speaker C
I got to get into your business a little bit, because even though it's a business podcast and I know certain business, but I know certain levels of business, so we start talking about hedge.

15:43 Speaker B
Funds and okay, benikutula business.

15:55 Speaker C
In all the stuff you got going on, tell me what it is that you do in business.

16:08 Speaker A
Yeah. So it's evolved over the years.

16:15 Speaker B
You get to chance to solve. Evolved.

16:29 Speaker A
When I first got started in business, many years ago now, I started in a network marketing profession, and I quit my job. I was a finance major in college to a college.

16:46 Speaker B
Miguel finance. Finance college. Molly Valley. Man karam rahul kardam. Quit. Kardam full time network.

17:01 Speaker A
Quit my job. Excuse me. Got started in finance after college, and then I quit my job. Went full time in network marketing after somebody it was called Prepaid Legal Services.

17:11 Speaker B
Back legal Services.

17:20 Speaker C
I think I met you, and I was like, oh, you look familiar. Because I remember I was in Prepaid Legal.

17:26 Speaker A
Mudam 2002, and I remember seeing, yeah, so Prepaid Legal, great company, great personal development, solid product.

17:45 Speaker B
Masata Jundaridosh Risha doridos and got a.

17:49 Speaker A
Tremendous education foundation there earned a lot of money by helping other people earn a lot of money. Great time there. And then I just had this bright idea that I wanted to kind of relax and do some other things. That lasted about a month and a half, two months. When I saw that when you leave a network marketing company, a lot of times you leave the money too.

18:38 Speaker B
As a network attach pool Roham tarkin koni.

19:14 Speaker A
That'S just the way the system is set up.

19:19 Speaker C
Way they sell it is like, yeah.

19:31 Speaker A
That'S the way I sold it. I didn't know that. Put like this one of the things about network marketing that I love is it gives you an introduction to, quote unquote entrepreneurship.

20:05 Speaker B
Entrepreneurship beto yek basic.

20:12 Speaker A
And the personal growth and development aspect and skill sets that you have to learn to be.

20:20 Speaker B
Yesterday mehra toyro management mehra toyroma.

20:27 Speaker A
Successful in it and those translate to anything else you do. I would never be where I am now if it was not for that foundation.

20:47 Speaker B
Man beha joy kalanasam nabudam agar unfondosion.

21:00 Speaker A
The thing I don't like is and of course it's not that I have a better understanding now miguel.

21:20 Speaker B
Hamachiso miguel.

21:22 Speaker A
But it was sold to me initially that it was my business forever and.

21:26 Speaker B
The mangoftan rugged.

21:31 Speaker A
To do what I wanted to with my business. When it turns out that you're really operating under a 1099 agreement valivoria carordo.

21:40 Speaker B
De navadono 30 to a system as in hall yek payment.

22:04 Speaker A
You don't own.

22:05 Speaker B
The company to molecule.

22:08 Speaker A
And when companies make decisions, you have to adapt to those.

22:17 Speaker B
Adapt koni to boyat bosch canarvi decisions.

22:21 Speaker A
If you were the owner, you would have say so in those.

22:29 Speaker B
Bar more Tour Valley.

22:38 Speaker A
Decisions. That's just not how it's set up.

22:40 Speaker B
How many companies were you in barrier in Jomle, in Mole hamisha hasheki duros.

22:50 Speaker A
Nashoda so I was in prepay legal and then left that company, went to another company, started the company was three months old and built a large organization over 700,000 people.

23:11 Speaker C
What's the name of the company?

23:12 Speaker A
A company called Zija. Okay, so I did that on money on that one. Oh, yeah. Billions.

23:26 Speaker B
Yeah, millions.

23:28 Speaker A
Millions. Most important, again, it's never about me. We helped a lot of other people.

23:37 Speaker B
Earn Mohammed.

23:45 Speaker A
Millions of dollars, too. The relationships around the world are just priceless that you can build in network marketing. But I noticed that one thing about me is again in network marketing, if I don't believe anymore that someone can get to where I am, I get.

24:16 Speaker B
A man to a network. Shakodishami bari yaham yo KCD.

24:29 Speaker A
I will never stand at the front of a room and tell somebody or sit tell someone to dream that you can. And of course, it's not that they can't do it. It's about the environment that you're in.

24:53 Speaker B
Bass in Niski unhaw bassoon fazohas basson sharo.

25:02 Speaker A
The environment that you in trust. Because there are companies where there are companies that have been around for a long time where someone can still get.

25:09 Speaker B
Involved to beginning and go out and.

25:19 Speaker A
Earn six figure income. Seven figure income. So it's not so much about timing that bavin.

25:28 Speaker B
Mozu. Mozu zamanish niche zamani. Mozu sharo. Yeah.

25:42 Speaker A
It's the environment. And this applies to any business. If you jump into a vehicle that's going 6 miles an hour.

25:59 Speaker B
At the Shish mile dar sadness amira. Okay. Fastmani shaskiramira.

26:06 Speaker A
You're going to go 6 miles an hour.

26:08 Speaker B
Shomoham hamunsour at a moshini and imasalan shish moydar so at allah asadna sarah.

26:20 Speaker A
Period. Now, even if you're in the backseat, because this happens sometimes when brand new people get started and they may open a market or open a country, they may, quote, unquote, be kind of sitting in the backseat. They may run to the front of the car.

26:52 Speaker B
Machine hollow. Yakatura. Okay.

27:01 Speaker A
But they're going to hit that windshield and correct back to 6 miles an hour.

27:05 Speaker B
Okay. Guard zohar rafter bishtara at unmoshine.

27:22 Speaker A
Period. You cannot outgrow or your pace will never exceed the vehicle that you're in. Now, if that vehicle is going backwards, even if you run to the front, you're still going backwards.

27:43 Speaker B
Hattaigar Shamo bit to it.

27:55 Speaker A
And so when you see something that because of the environment and different things you see that is going backwards. Or doesn't have the ability to grow and you don't believe it because you've seen companies that do go to a certain level, then you have to know, hey, it's time for me to move on and do something else.

28:47 Speaker B
Move on again.

28:51 Speaker A
I don't know everything, but the company did sell. Two years later, the owner has sold us. They would never sell. Right. This is my family's legacy. Yeah.

29:48 Speaker C
You know what's so crazy? That gives me a revelation. Even if, like, for instance, like Joe, he works with the company. I got some people that work with the company. If I'm not moving fast correct. Then neither can they. And even some people on the team that's not moving as fast. As long as the vehicle's moving fast, you're going to get to where you're going a little faster than what on your own.

30:27 Speaker B
The bartibosh hasi network needs to importance.

30:49 Speaker A
Network marketing. There are people or you've seen people that their skill sets aren't that great.

30:56 Speaker B
Miguel did. K afrodike Majmihara.

31:03 Speaker A
But they get caught up in the.

31:05 Speaker B
Momentum as momentum had them momentum.

31:23 Speaker A
And the momentum carries them to a certain place. Then, of course, once you get to that place, your skill sets determine whether you stay there or not. Do you get better? It determines you stay there or not. If you don't get better, you'll go back to where you are. So that was my start in business. Did well in network marketing, helped a lot of people, got great relationships around the world. The most important thing I did.

32:16 Speaker A
I learned a lesson when I left prepaid legal, that your income can stay, your income just not follow you. So I started in the last company or, building some residual income outside of network marketing. Network marketing and investing. Investing. Doing investment. Because I went back to my roots.

33:16 Speaker C
When you got into bitcoin?

33:19 Speaker B
Bitcoin, but yeah. Maximi kavita, bitcoin. Samuel FAM, hashmi persecute bitcoin, virtual danger, hamunjay bitcoin.

33:37 Speaker A
Bitcoin is a little bit later, I started doing traditional things first, because I was afraid of bitcoin. I didn't understand it. I didn't take name the time to understand it. A friend of mine was calling me month after month after month, telling me about bitcoin. He's in Thailand right now because he's big time.

34:23 Speaker B
Against bootleg.

34:26 Speaker A
He's all the way up. Yeah.

34:31 Speaker B
Twin time.

34:35 Speaker C
I was talking to Jonathan green, actually, I think you were there. It was a launch of iboomerang.

34:58 Speaker A
Okay. Yeah, I was there.

35:00 Speaker B
Monkey network marketing, so I can.

35:15 Speaker A
I was there. Yeah.

35:19 Speaker C
Green was like, yeah, you know mike simpson?

35:23 Speaker B
Mike simsi now, seen him before, and.

35:27 Speaker C
He'S like, yeah, he cashed out on a bitcoin.

35:29 Speaker B
Let me get, umberman, golf ketto to bitcoin. Check out the santeric.

35:40 Speaker C
So tell me about this journey.

35:46 Speaker B
Business, how you got into investing.

35:50 Speaker A
Yeah. Again, knowing that there's a difference between residual income and passive investment.

35:59 Speaker B
Miguel tafovat has been residual income. Daramada residual. Passive investment.

36:11 Speaker A
And so I wanted to start playing in the markets and go back to my original roots, which was financial advice.

36:23 Speaker B
Man rishi Aslim hamun finance has bozo.

36:28 Speaker A
And it goes back I'm sorry, real.

36:29 Speaker C
Quick, what's the difference between residual and passive?

36:32 Speaker A
So when. You have residual income, and it's just my personal definition again, you have an asset that you put work into. A lot of times you have to continue to work at it, and it's producing residual income for you. Maybe it's network marketing, network machine. You got a customer base. It's continued to pay you money on a monthly basis. Maybe you've got several homes that you own, and they're creating residual income because of people paying rent.

37:33 Speaker A
Passive income to me, is when you're sending your money to work.

37:37 Speaker B
Passive income.

37:43 Speaker A
You don't have to go to work. You're sending your money to work, and it's bringing you income in. You don't have to do or have any more effort yourself because you've already put the work in to earn the money. Now you're sending the money to work. So that's the difference. Again, my definition, differentiation between passive income, residual income. So it was important for me to do so because I have this crazy.

38:24 Speaker B
Audacious goal again, mohammed mohammed.

38:37 Speaker A
Audacious goal to become a billionaire. And it's not because of the money, because there's not a whole lot you can't do with a couple of hundred.

38:49 Speaker B
Million that you can do with a billionist.

39:11 Speaker A
It's just because just one, the amount of people that I will have to take with me alone on the way to accomplish it. That's number one. And two, to show it can be done by someone that's not a big time athlete, someone that's not singing, whatever, sing a little bit.

40:08 Speaker A
But nobody know about a record sometimes is doing something that everybody can do, because everybody can start in the network marketing profession like I did. Everyone can learn some skill sets and acquire some relationships to teach you how to invest and things of that nature. Everyone can do these type of things.

40:54 Speaker B
I didn't inherit it in Pulro in Fazoro el snab Ordam become a billionaire.

41:01 Speaker A
From inheritance and things of that nature. I wanted to do something everybody could do. And then, of course, in the world we live in now, I remember Holton Bug said this out of respect for Holton. Holton said, if it takes you a long time now to earn seven figures, you're not doing something right, because the world now, all the information is at your fingertips.

41:52 Speaker A
Someone could watch your podcast, every episode of your podcast and learn enough to go apply, and they could become a millionaire if they sit there and watch the pot. If they've been watching your podcast for.

42:13 Speaker B
Years now and I get uno damasal Hostan podcast, they are not earning seven figures.

42:22 Speaker A
They're watching something different. That's why I used to tell people all the time, if you read Rich Dad, Poor dad, and you're still concentrating on advancing in your job, nothing wrong with your job. But if you don't have something else going on, on the side.

43:06 Speaker C
You didn't.

43:06 Speaker A
Read the same version of the book I read, right?

43:11 Speaker B
Your book was missing some pages yesterday, Safari.

43:18 Speaker A
Because when I read that book, it messed me up mentally. It messed me up mentally. And so those are the reasons why I wanted to become a billionaire. Because money and everything, until you need some, you don't have it. But again, it's it's something that's not going to require a huge sacrifice of time, because it's just about doing the right things at the right time with the right people.

44:20 Speaker C
I'm glad I got you on the.

44:21 Speaker A
Podcast now because I had you on.

44:25 Speaker B
The podcast last year podcast, and you.

44:29 Speaker C
Said that somebody could listen to every episode and not become a millionaire. Something's wrong? Because it wasn't until this year pretty much that all this stuff starts to click in my head, right. And I'm able to go apply it.

45:01 Speaker B
And become seven figure out man as not so for the kadam as having no cause between episode.

45:16 Speaker C
But it was like all these conversations.

45:18 Speaker B
I'm glad you didn't so.

45:21 Speaker C
But last year.

45:25 Speaker A
Like, dang, I'm slipping.

45:27 Speaker C
Around all these people. That is not working for me. But that super.

45:35 Speaker B
Sham in Hamasan shadow.

45:45 Speaker C
That's why I push everybody to start a podcast. There's no other way you could have these conversations all the time. All right.

46:01 Speaker A
Okay. Yes. That was the goal, to become a billionaire. And then of course, the question was like, how did I get into finance? When leaving network marketing, I knew that going back to my roots in finance, that's where a lot of the major money is. And where you can send money to work, et cetera. Now, here's the beautiful part about it.

46:44 Speaker A
I had some bad experiences in finance with people who were really good at talking about what they could do and terrible at actually executing on what they said they could. Well, people that were great at talking to me about certain things and when it came down to actually performing, they just didn't perform.

47:39 Speaker A
And then, of course, there was one time I trusted somebody that I had a relationship with him. There were other areas where I saw this person be an expert in that area and I trusted that person with some money it didn't work out with. And so that said, okay, I told myself, let's do this, but let's do it the right way. Do right by people you can sleep well at night.

48:32 Speaker B
I'm never that hakama.

48:42 Speaker A
Don't take advantage of somebody because as kisses with the father I believe in educate. I got some celebrities that are clients and they say, well, here it is. You go figure it out, you go do it.

48:53 Speaker B
No, man, yesterday celebrity hodder system can have injury.

49:04 Speaker A
We're not doing that because I'm going to do you the right way. If you take that same mentality to someone else gonna, you know, they're gonna tell you, they're gonna tell you apart. He'S gonna tell you apart. Their eyes are gonna light up when they see you and they're going to take advantage of you in every kind of way possible. And there's an old saying when someone has money, someone's with experience, the person with the money leaves with the experience.

50:04 Speaker A
Someone has money, someone has money. Meet someone with experience.

50:12 Speaker C
Meet someone with experience.

50:13 Speaker A
The person who has the money will leave with an experience.

50:20 Speaker B
In mojarova in robataro, the person who.

50:24 Speaker A
Has the experience will leave with all your money. So it's important to get some kind of education first before.

50:47 Speaker B
Shaksan Begiri we.

50:49 Speaker A
Just trust people just say, hey, here it is. You do whatever with it you want to. And so wanted to pride myself on doing things the right way, doing what's right by people, keeping a good name in a good reputation and then setting them things the right way. Learning how to trade a little bit myself. But I learned as well that I.

51:30 Speaker B
Have a weakness valid twin masiram when.

51:35 Speaker A
It comes to trading. And it's the same reason I don't gamble never gambled in my life, never will. Reason why is I know me, okay? If I were to gamble and I win, I would never get up from the table because I will feel like I could never lose. And if I lost. I would never get up from the table until I got my money back.

52:26 Speaker A
I would be the person they will build the largest casino with, because that's a recipe for disaster. So in trading, you have to have emotional discipline.

52:50 Speaker B
Emotional discipline by Nasma control to know.

52:55 Speaker A
When to get in and when to get out. Now, of course, I'm more emotionally disciplined now than years ago, but I said, all right, I know I can attract some of the best of the best traders, traders and relationships around the world, people who are experts in doing it.

53:30 Speaker A
And then we can set up a company, we can set up a fund, we can build relationships where I can do what I do best, which is educate people on different strategies and attract the relationship so they can trust and say, hey, I'm confident that if I enter into this relationship, the outcome will be good. I would learn, and there will be a positive cash flow or my money will grow.

54:25 Speaker B
Mosvat got you.

54:28 Speaker A
And let the traders do what they do. And we've been able to do some.

54:37 Speaker C
Great things I want to get into. Because you have a venture capital, correct?

54:42 Speaker B
Migueto yek venture capital. Hamdari venture capital. Yani shakatik mira start off shekata kuchik pelanish.

54:56 Speaker C
Or is it a fund?

54:57 Speaker A
Venture capital. Yes.

54:58 Speaker C
Okay, so you're a venture capitalist, correct?

55:02 Speaker B
Venture capitalist has jodoias. Hedge fundure capitalist has yani mirabiz.

55:23 Speaker C
Okay, I've heard of that phrase before. You're a venture capitalist, and what does a venture capitalist do?

55:32 Speaker A
The hedge fund. Of course, that's one. Yes, that was it.

55:35 Speaker C
So you have a hedge fund, correct?

55:37 Speaker B
Miguel hedge fund. Jodas to yekh fundari and venture capital.

55:41 Speaker C
Is it the same thing or different?

55:43 Speaker A
Totally different.

55:44 Speaker B
Miguel capital. Indotomigue. Indoto. Kamalan motifobet hasan. Ah, that were to enjoy. Bonnie just have, like, a more freedom.

Social Proof Podcast, mike sims, Episode #180 w/ Mike Sims

00:00 Speaker A
You, but they do. And we've been able to do some.

00:05 Speaker B
Great things I want to get into. Because you have a venture capital.

00:23 Speaker A
Or is it a fund? Yeah, venture capital, yes. Okay, so you're a venture capitalist, correct?

00:28 Speaker C
Venture capitalist. Venture capitalist, yes.

00:34 Speaker B
Okay, I've heard of that phrase before. You're a venture capitalist. And what does a venture capitalist do?

00:44 Speaker A
The hedge fund, of course, that's one. Okay.

00:46 Speaker B
Yes, that was it.

00:51 Speaker C
Joe Dohast Hedge Fund.

00:54 Speaker B
And venture capital.

00:56 Speaker C
Migue pastor, hedge fundary. Vayek, venture capitalist, venture capital, totally different. Miguenduta. Yekian yamoto, kamalan, motivavitas and Dutch.

01:09 Speaker A
Totally different. Hedge fund is the entity where someone there's disclosures all these type of things, where we tell you what we're going to do with your assets.

01:20 Speaker C
Hedge fund, joy okay.

01:33 Speaker A
And we grow those assets through different strategies. Got it.

01:36 Speaker B
So hedge fund, I say, okay, you have a hedge fund and you're saying, hey, David, I have this hedge fund.

01:43 Speaker C
If you invest $1,000, okay, passage funding, shake. Yeah.

01:53 Speaker B
This is what we're going to do with the $1,000. Coming or whatever.

02:08 Speaker A
Correct. Potential returns. Of course, the legal stuff is miguel. The results are not typical, blah, blah, blah, blah. You can't base on what happened last year, what's going to happen this year, conditions change every day, et cetera. We do have a great track record, though.

02:43 Speaker C
Sober, in princiamine, in sober, ramundro it.

02:56 Speaker B
So what I've invested in was your hedge fund, correct?

02:59 Speaker C
Yes. David Migue pass unchecked.

03:05 Speaker B
It's so crazy. I'm just learning what it is.

03:10 Speaker C
David. Miguel okay.

03:23 Speaker B
Only because I have some friends that all invested in the hedge fund. And one of my buddies, he told me about it two years ago. He was like, yeah, man, my buddy Mike, I put in 50,000 or something like that.

03:51 Speaker A
I was like.

03:54 Speaker B
At that point, I was like, man, I could probably do 25,000. He's like, Mac, and see if I can get you in. It's all good. And I just never followed up. That 50,000 probably turned into a trillion dollars.

04:12 Speaker C
Miguel panja.

04:19 Speaker B
Midunam well, whatever he put in, but this time around when you started talking about it, I didn't understand it, but I trusted it, only because I trusted your company.

04:31 Speaker A
And I trust.

04:36 Speaker C
Man bozam Nahamidam, Chibichi Valley.

04:48 Speaker B
All the other people that invested on my friends. And it was like a little fear of loss, like, yeah, you're not going to get this, bro. So, hedge fund, I'm up 60%, which is in, what is it, maybe two.

04:59 Speaker A
Months, which is crazy. Like I said, that's one of the higher risk strategies.

05:24 Speaker C
High risk cast j motevity has para frodo salan Miyam boschund hasan has Ramosan risk.

05:50 Speaker A
Higher risk it is.

05:52 Speaker C
But you all haven't bought the man long riskish. Paula miguel.

06:02 Speaker A
There are losing days, but no losing months.

06:06 Speaker C
Miguel strategy.

06:23 Speaker A
And again, that's part of trading. You may have a day where there's a 10% loss and some people have a heart attack with it in trading. The good thing about it is in one of the markets we trade is, which is the foreign exchange market.

06:46 Speaker C
Foreign exchange.

06:49 Speaker A
That can happen. And then over the next two days you made that up and then of.

06:53 Speaker C
Course, the profits continue in Monte de Bobby of the value to do Bramble Cone.

07:02 Speaker B
With your hedge fund. You pretty much decided to create a company where you have experienced traders, I guess. They take the money, trade it. Then bring you a return back. But you can do a hedge fund in anything.

07:31 Speaker A
It doesn't have to be great. All kind of hedge funds. Correct.

07:42 Speaker C
Got it.

07:43 Speaker A
And there's different strategies. I'll give you another tip here. Say there's someone that is 70 years old and they are retired, they are on a fixed income and they say, well, I've got this $150,000, it needs to last me for a long, long time because I'm retired. Now.

08:34 Speaker A
I would not suggest to that person a strategy like your strategy, because even though that there's no losses and that track record continues for years now, in the back of my mind subconsciously, I know that it's a possibility.

09:20 Speaker C
Miguel, man. Twin. Nohodogoham. Midunam Khan.

09:27 Speaker A
Okay, very small possibility because the risk management parameters are off the charts.

09:40 Speaker C
Risk management risk.

09:47 Speaker A
But that person should not be in that type of strategy.

09:50 Speaker C
Valley unshark Naboya to a strategy.

09:55 Speaker A
Because if that small lightning strike does happen.

10:00 Speaker C
Ethan Reese Radovara.

10:09 Speaker A
Chance of getting struck by lightning. Small, but it can if you're walking out there, whatever pushing a bug in open field you might have. With that being said, the chances are still small when you're dealing with someone else's funds. You have to think about it from that person's perspective. And I know that person is not David. That person will never go earn that money again because they can't go say it's a school teacher, they can't go teach school again.

11:14 Speaker A
They're still teaching school, they will never earn that money back again. Whereas if you were to take $100,000 loss the following month you're back, it's not going to blow up your entire life.

11:44 Speaker B
If you ever invest money that.

11:45 Speaker C
You can't afford to lose anywhere, david Goff.

11:52 Speaker A
That'S what you tell everyone.

11:59 Speaker B
In that situation. They can't afford to lose, they can't.

12:02 Speaker C
Afford to give their own sharks.

12:10 Speaker A
Lose it can't afford. So we got other things that three or 4% a month in Josh Haley.

12:15 Speaker C ***************
Jada Mulader Omega for your business ASI Kodesh hedge fund.

12:47 Speaker A
We got some things that are 8% a month. My thing is as long as you're beating the bank, which is not hard to do.

12:59 Speaker C
In business.

13:06 Speaker A
You'Re in good shape.

13:20 Speaker C
Strategy, hidden muddoza.

13:29 Speaker A
But we got some things that are less risk, very.

13:38 Speaker C
Risky methodical in how.

13:41 Speaker A
It'S traded, concentrated and focused.

13:51 Speaker B
It's still a hedge fund. Still trading forex.

13:56 Speaker A
Correct. And we got other commodities and things of that nature. Correct. Different strategies, because every person is different. Every person is different. Again, I don't know your personal situation.

14:25 Speaker C
But I would mike seems, but david Migueman sharret molitoral and naming, I would.

14:32 Speaker A
Think it may be a little different than one of the NBA players.

14:36 Speaker C
Miguel celebrity Jahaniki but.

14:52 Speaker A
Again, I don't.

14:52 Speaker C
Know your situation, okay?

14:58 Speaker A
But I know these guys, 30 million a year.

15:02 Speaker C
Miguel MBA there was.

15:08 Speaker A
A little different. Two years from now, it'll be the. But just a little bit. So everybody's situation is different. That's what we do.

15:39 Speaker C
Now the venture capital side venture Capital venture Capital has Farm konaboh fundam to Venture Capital venture Capital is taking a.

15:50 Speaker A
Look at opportunities, betting them Mireva Muriyata.

15:57 Speaker C
Business Plan hoyun horo ASIO and deciding.

16:02 Speaker A
If that's something that you want to investing in.

16:08 Speaker C
Start up your tone business.

16:12 Speaker A
Is that an angel investor?

16:13 Speaker C
Miguel in Hamon. Angel investor Hasria sarma guzarija angel. Hello. Angel investor Yaniya Ferrishar Migue. In Hamaslahamune, it's similar. Shabihe similar.

16:31 Speaker A
I think angel investing is a little.

16:35 Speaker C
Different because as nazaraman as did a man angel investing.

16:43 Speaker A
Again, this is my opinion. There's not as much due diligence as I've seen from the angel investors I know.

16:54 Speaker C
Miguel angel Investor mandidam venture Capital k alan Moderim pelanicoro bibina Check konan shabi Hassan Investors I know.

17:16 Speaker A
It'S a close walk between angel investor and hard money lender, right?

17:21 Speaker C
Hard money lender. Miguel angel Investor shabi Hassan mitunam Begam nasdik Hassan the hard money lender. Okay. Yehona vomid as that's. Migue there.

18:21 Speaker A
Capital close walk. Venture capital is you're vetting things. And I've got a team of people, and one person actually, who hedged that team. And she is an absolute animal.

18:43 Speaker C
Leader. Hashung she is an animal. Animal.

18:58 Speaker A
That's probably not a good word. Yeah, she's a beast.

19:08 Speaker C
She's a beast.

19:16 Speaker A
She is the best at vetting and digging into companies and saying, hey, Mike, pay attention to this man I tell you attracted her.

19:36 Speaker C
Kojapi I attracted her. And iman jazz bozo tarin ulguhaye Darvar ishun had met bob Proctor hast the mozula secret that Ross the Jazz.

20:00 Speaker A
Attracted her. Somebody. It was a bad meeting. A bad meeting. Someone invited me to a meeting on a yacht in Miami.

20:19 Speaker C
To a yacht.

20:22 Speaker A
Said all these different things and I didn't trust the person. But something told me to go to.

20:34 Speaker C
The meeting valley.

20:43 Speaker A
And because I might meet someone else, because that's just how things happen when you're looking to attract certain relationships. I decided to go and I met her there. I was impressed.

21:08 Speaker C
Man In Honumbro Unjo molotishkadam.

21:14 Speaker A
Her team.

21:15 Speaker B
What side was she on? Was she on the side of the person pitching?

21:18 Speaker A
Correct. She was.

21:27 Speaker C
Present to rebuild and that.

21:29 Speaker A
Person didn't tell her the correct things about me.

21:35 Speaker C
Miguel shafsiyamke In Hanomro.

21:43 Speaker A
They thought that they were coming to pitch me an idea to invest in that person's company, but they didn't tell that person didn't accurately portray our relationship.

22:02 Speaker C
Vali, unhotten boun, sharks, row, duros tasvirna.

22:09 Speaker A
And so we all figured it out pretty quickly during the meeting, and when.

22:17 Speaker B
You were telling her that you all.

22:18 Speaker A
Was like, super cool or something.

22:22 Speaker C
Super cool enemy.

22:30 Speaker A
Super close. And he knew for a fact that I was going to come to the meet, I'll be ready to write a check for.

22:42 Speaker C
Hamunju. That was that million dollar, $12 million.

22:47 Speaker A
And with very little information because I knew him so well. Blah, blah, blah. I wouldn't have walked into an open bank vault with this guy, right?

23:00 Speaker C
Nikki valley, man. Laurette. Nikki. Bon shastani. Bon shast. To a boncham. Namira.

23:15 Speaker A
Again, I went to the meeting. We had a great time. Food was good on the yacht. Well, we just connected, she and I and her team, her colleagues that she had with her great guys as well. We went to dinner and drinks that night.

23:45 Speaker C
Hamon, shab, rafting, biron.

23:50 Speaker A
Without the guy we knew. Let's connect. And from that point on, man, I was like, okay, this is what I need. I need someone like this to start vetting different opportunities. If she doesn't give me the okay, I don't even take a look at it. I trust her 100%.

24:39 Speaker B
Ask you this, though, because she was on the guy's team, I'm guessing it wasn't a good investment.

24:57 Speaker C
Jealous money that.

25:12 Speaker A
Through another relationship, she got introduced to that person through another relationship. So again, I answered to prayer. She did. We all laugh about it now. It's an ongoing running joke, almost every. Today, but it just happened that way. Got you. And it's been a great relationship. She's one of my favorite people now, man, and just the bond. When you find some people that are 100% loyal.

26:11 Speaker A
They always got your back. And surround yourself when you're a business owner, surround yourself with people who. They are you. Well, this is your responsibility as a business owner.

26:46 Speaker A
As a business owner, your responsibility is to create an environment where people don't feel like they're your employees, because no employee will work as hard for the company as they will as they feel like they are part of the company. So everything I do, I set up.

27:24 Speaker C
Some type of profit sharing business to the kolihand where people can eat from.

27:40 Speaker A
The profit, because I don't want to be taking a vacation to somewhere. Best place in the world. And they going to Savannah.

27:56 Speaker C
Zamoniki, safaramro Valley, masalan karmandomi.

28:12 Speaker A
Savannah is a great place, but it's a little different than the Maldives.

28:21 Speaker C
Void as bombaldi.

28:23 Speaker A
So I don't want to create an environment where people are looking at me or looking up to me all the time, and I'm not trying to help them up the environment. When you create that type of environment, you start to create an army within the company. People that are relentless, they don't stop working. It's just like me. People say, well, how many hours a.

29:18 Speaker C
Day do you work, Mr. Hodam?

29:23 Speaker A
As many as it takes. When do you go on vacation? I don't know what vacation is. Just decide to go do business on the beach. Right?

29:41 Speaker C
Man tasmi migiram kibaram businessam row to your savohele. Okay?

29:53 Speaker A
Because as long as I have my phone and computer, I'll be in reach.

29:58 Speaker C
But out of touch because bushim pishame laptop, I'm at a torch. I'm not in touch.

30:24 Speaker A
Yeah, you can't touch me, but I'm in reach. It's just like abandoned analogy I gave this past weekend. I was in Mexico. It's like you're building a business. You got to treat that business like a baby.

30:43 Speaker C
Business from mesley. Batch Business Owner you wouldn't lead a.

30:54 Speaker A
Baby no matter.

31:00 Speaker B
What, right?

31:01 Speaker A
Even if you don't like the baby that day, the baby don't stop crying.

31:05 Speaker C
Monkey NATO.

31:11 Speaker A
This and that. You're not going to lead the baby alone and just say the heck with it.

31:17 Speaker C
You're going to take business. I'm hamming the baby.

31:27 Speaker A
You're going to teach the baby. You're going to cultivate the relationship with the baby, make sure that baby is taken care of. That's the same way we got to do with our businesses in dian.

31:44 Speaker C
Kariki and you want to attract people.

31:47 Speaker A
Around you that's going to take care of that baby. They're going to defend you. They'll have your back. They'll go to war. They won't let other people take advantage of you.

32:07 Speaker C
They're looking out for snakes in the grass.

32:11 Speaker A
All these different things you need, especially the bigger your business gets your business.

32:19 Speaker B
I need to know how we started this. Which one did you start first, the hedge fund or the venture capital?

32:27 Speaker C
Venture capital.

32:32 Speaker A
Start a hedge fund.

32:33 Speaker B
How did you start a hedge fund and what were you doing when you started this?

32:43 Speaker A
I was still doing network marketing.

32:45 Speaker C
Man hanuz Mashula network.

32:47 Speaker A
Still doing network marketing after Bitcoin? Yeah. Well.

32:56 Speaker C
Bitcoin. Mohammed. Kabla's bitcoin. Giant bitcoin.

33:10 Speaker B
I need to be a part. I need to figure out his bitcoin story because I've been dying to ask you.

33:22 Speaker C
I've been dying to ask you any more than.

33:27 Speaker B
Okay, so it was during network marketing.

33:30 Speaker A
During network marketing.

33:32 Speaker C
Network is a Dutch network.

33:36 Speaker A
And I started investing in bitcoin too. The last few years I was in network marketing as well.

33:42 Speaker C
Bitcoin to Chancellor network buddham startup.

33:45 Speaker B
Take me back to your first Bitcoin.

33:47 Speaker A
Experience, like how you learned about it again. My friend had been calling me, talking to me about it. Finally I said, okay, everybody has a pain point, right? When you're looking at something for so long, that when the numbers start to get so big, it starts to get painful, and then you're mad at yourself for not taking a look.

34:38 Speaker A
Earlier, I reached my pain point, and that pain point was $100 million. That's a serious pain point. And I'm like, okay, let's take a look closer look at this thing.

35:10 Speaker B
Point was 100 million, meaning you wanted to get to 100 million.

35:13 Speaker A
No, he had 100 million.

35:23 Speaker C
Dollar dashed.

35:25 Speaker A
He had $100 million worth of cryptocurrency.

35:28 Speaker C
Sad million dollar bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

35:43 Speaker A
And that was painful because I remember when he started telling me to buy it and I didn't buy it.

35:55 Speaker C
Where was he when he started telling.

35:57 Speaker A
You about probably $200.

36:02 Speaker C
Who do the bitcoin? A divis dollar. $300 divisolar with bitcoin in shrukmangov tank.

36:10 Speaker A
So I bought my first bitcoin March 1, 2017.

36:15 Speaker C
Bitcoin of a man March DOH.

36:22 Speaker A
It was fluctuating between 880 and 980. Somewhere around there. Somewhere between there.

36:34 Speaker C
889, $8880, $880, $80.

36:41 Speaker A
Bought my first bitcoin. Loaded up. Pretty nice. Actually. My first investment was ten grand into it. Then I started to become obsessed with it a little bit and start watching it every night, because crypto is like it's addictive. Because when you start watching the charts and learning how to trade and all these different things, and I started doing that and started investing a little bit more as I started to see what happened. And I remember we had a down two weeks, and then I had to remind myself, this is when you buy.

37:42 Speaker C
Man majur with them your own laze.

37:49 Speaker A
You don't get down in the dumps. You got a long term strategy. This is when you buy. So I bought more. So between March 1 of 2017 to December 31, 2017, I invested about a.

38:10 Speaker C
Half a million dollars, my own money, into the crypto market as pula sharks.

38:21 Speaker A
That half a million turned into a.

38:23 Speaker C
Lot of money on.

38:31 Speaker A
A charade. Hold on. A lot of money.

38:35 Speaker B
That year, you put a half a million dollars, half a million in bitcoin.

38:46 Speaker C
Bitcoin different crypto.

38:49 Speaker B
But bitcoin specifically was like less than $900.

38:53 Speaker A
Correct. But then that year, it had that run toward the end of the year, and it was major.

39:11 Speaker B
Towards the end of the year.

39:13 Speaker A
Correct. End of 2017.

39:14 Speaker C
And it shot up to where the bitcoin.

39:21 Speaker A
What? Yeah, 20,000. And so then here's the thing. It was not all.

39:32 Speaker C
Bitcoin, because you.

39:35 Speaker A
Heard me say this many times now attraction.

39:40 Speaker C
So that has jazz McConnell.

39:44 Speaker A
The goal is billionaire. I said that I tell everybody that. You don't know exactly how it's going to happen, but when you state a goal, you have it written down, you start to attract the right people into your life to create to that kind of pushes you along that path. Right. So I was attracted through my friend.

40:18 Speaker C
Who got me into crypto, mandavastam Jasperdam.

40:22 Speaker A
To donja crypto to a group of guys. There were heavy hitters in crypto, and back then the ICOs were very, very popular. Still popular now, but back then it was a wild, wild west. So there's ICO when it first hits the market, initial coin offering as much.

40:59 Speaker C
As initial coin offer. ICO.

41:05 Speaker B
Coin offering, which is like when a company goes public. Got you.

41:13 Speaker A
But then there's a presale. Any pish furouch the presale before the ICO.

41:21 Speaker C
Presale hablas had the ICO.

41:25 Speaker A
So we would get in in the presale.

41:37 Speaker B
You know the guy or the lady that's putting together a coin.

41:40 Speaker A
I didn't know anybody. And they just said, Mike, follow us. We like you. We're attracted to you. You are in our group now. We know you're serious about this likable guy. We know you're. We've heard about your success in network.

42:10 Speaker C
Moz moha. Fariatim toro stage marketing man.

42:16 Speaker A
We saw you on stage or with Les Brown or something.

42:20 Speaker C
Some kind of motorba les Brown personal growth seminar, man.

42:24 Speaker A
We like you. And I like you all, too. I don't know. Set me in the group. What I got to do to qualify? And then they say, hey, man, just listen. Just follow us. Follow the plays. And then so there were presales where we would get in at $0.03.

42:48 Speaker C
Presale high boot camp.

42:53 Speaker A
For an example. Three cents.

42:55 Speaker C
The ICO would be ten Cent Valley zamanika ICO. Yohamun faza valley. Kurush public. Michael, but Dasant sugar valley. ICO. But Dasant launch.

43:09 Speaker A
Michelle we already won, and it hit the market. It drive up the 20 cent. That's why you will see coins hit the market. They shoot up after ice when they hit the market. Then you see a dip. That dip was us selling.

43:35 Speaker C
Shoot. Michael.

43:43 Speaker A
We were taking major profits. And, bro, we did that so many times.

43:51 Speaker C
Bro, we did that so many times. Give me the biggest hit.

44:00 Speaker B
Where you got it super early, like pre ICO.

44:05 Speaker A
Oh, man.

44:06 Speaker B
Is the coin still around?

44:11 Speaker A
It is. One of them still is. I'll tell you the biggest hit besides Bitcoin Joda's.

44:20 Speaker C
Bitcoin ripple. Ripple.

44:23 Speaker A
Ripple. I got in Ripple, and it was not even ICO there. It was just kind of early.

44:33 Speaker C
I think I got in Ripple at Run.

44:41 Speaker A
I think it took it to had millions.

44:52 Speaker B
Whoa. Did you say millions?

44:59 Speaker A
Yeah. In Ripple? Yeah, I had millions of Ripple. Three cents. My first buy of Ripple was a million Ripple.

45:08 Speaker B
All right, look, I know you're enjoying the episode, but I got to tell you, finally, you asked for it, and we created a patreon, okay?

45:15 Speaker A
We create.

45:20 Speaker B
Inner circle. We have amazing stories, amazing information, how to's from the episodes. The only thing we're missing is a community. So it's about that time we put together a patreon. We put together a community because we have to have conversation around the information. So even this podcast we're listening to right now, there needs to be conversation. I want to hear what you got. I want to hear what you got. Let's throw some stuff back and forth. And because we're a like minded, we're all going in the same direction. When we connect in a community, we can connect on other stuff outside the community because we're building real relationships. So check out the patreon. We got three tiers. I don't care what tier you join. The support is appreciated. Okay, thank you so much. Now back to the episode. A million Ripple or a million dollars in Ripple?

46:10 Speaker C
Miguel Garfield or yek million dollar repel?

46:15 Speaker A
Garfield a million dollars in Ripple. Excuse me. Yeah. No, I didn't invest in me. I bought a million ripple.

46:20 Speaker B
How many?

46:21 Speaker C
Man. Yek million. Ripple.

46:22 Speaker B
How much was that?

46:23 Speaker A
I can't remember. I can't remember how much money it was. But I wanted a million Ripple because everybody kept saying, hey, Ripple is a big one because of what they were doing with the banks, all that kind of stuff. $3.20 somewhere around there, I sold around 310.

46:55 Speaker C
Ruya said fructam yek million repair Shishant Haridam rua said somewhere that'll be 3 million.

47:06 Speaker B
But you had to put in significantly less.

47:15 Speaker A
Significantly less.

47:21 Speaker B
That's like $100,000. Something like that. Or not even that.

47:26 Speaker A
It wasn't even that much.

47:28 Speaker C
I'm not sure.

47:29 Speaker A
It wasn't even that much. It wouldn't even that much. It wasn't even that much. And then sold out. And then do you still do this? Because crypto be honest. It frustrates me now because in forex or the stock market, there are some.

47:53 Speaker C
Fundamentals and forex, fundamental, hohast or suda boniodin hast some things that you can.

48:01 Speaker A
Kind of see and they kind of happen that way.

48:07 Speaker C
Of the bad.

48:12 Speaker A
Crypto, there's the fundamentals, but then there's the FUD, the other fact, the FUD fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

48:21 Speaker C
That miguel crypto Masalik has fundamental. Bujutar Valley bozalk niche bozemi people put.

48:35 Speaker A
Into the market because the market is so small.

48:38 Speaker C
Market crypto, I think it's maybe a.

48:41 Speaker A
Trillion dollars now, a little of a trillion dollar market, but it's still small.

48:48 Speaker C
Compared to the other markets in Venezuela. Market easily manipulated, manipulate.

48:59 Speaker A
The Chinese government can put out some bad news. Boom. The price of bitcoin drops and then the altcoins follow.

49:12 Speaker C
Bitcoin how? Ham domball bitcoin ham.

49:16 Speaker A
So when people ask me advice on crypto now, I don't give it to them. And I'll say, no, I'm not going to give you advice. I don't because 70% of the time I've haven't been right. Just being honest. 70% of bottom sadham early on. But here's what I tell people. It was even not being right. I was in the right place.

49:58 Speaker C
Man joy, the right time with the right people. Mandar zamanadoroskudam.

50:10 Speaker A
I didn't have to be right.

50:11 Speaker C
Mani manduros, mandoros pishpini konam with Manjoy duros.

50:23 Speaker A
Right place, right time, right people.

50:25 Speaker C
Right place, right time, right people. Zamonadoros makonadoros odamadoros.

50:31 Speaker A
I learned a lot, but that run to 50 million, from half of a million to $50 million.

50:42 Speaker C
Miguel Massilla, man as nimilundola million Dollar.

50:50 Speaker A
In crypto assets, that run was 10% maybe. It probably increased to 20%. Knowledge the rest of it was timing and relationships.

51:03 Speaker C
Tobista sat shamitunam Et Altam Robia Ramvasatobista Vali Hashtag joy Dorothika Buddham But there's.

51:16 Speaker B
Can hold on from a half a million to 50 million.

51:22 Speaker C
As Nimilion Dollar the panjo million dollar.

51:25 Speaker A
In what time period? From December 31 march 1 december 31.

51:45 Speaker C
Million dollar.

51:47 Speaker A
Yeah, that's now, here's where here's where the fun begins. Because there was a correction. Bitcoin started to cascade. I can't remember what happened.

52:08 Speaker C
Bitcoin Majara Shu short Vajuray Raymati first.

52:12 Speaker A
Of all, it was too high in the first place. There was no reason bitcoin should have been 20 grand. It got there because the people with the experience was telling.

52:25 Speaker C
But began bolot.

52:37 Speaker A
People with the money what to do. And the people with the money kept buying, buying, buying, and buying, buying drove the price up. And then the people with experience said, hey, it's time for me to take profits right now in investing, nobody take this wrong. We call it dumb money. The dumb money is entering the market.

53:30 Speaker C
Miyanki Pulley dumb Motor Forces pushes Tajoinist mommy Famous.

53:57 Speaker A
And we're going to take the dumb money. I got some dumb money.

54:05 Speaker B
If you tell me something right now, I'll be like.

54:10 Speaker C
David, pull him alone.

54:19 Speaker A
Am I right? I wouldn't do you like that. I wouldn't do anybody like that, man.

54:27 Speaker C
Behas it's been done to me.

54:33 Speaker A
But I try to give people advice based upon the education I have, and I'll tell them what my areas of education are limited.

54:57 Speaker B
Six, seven months.

54:58 Speaker A
But he's a life, bro.

54:59 Speaker C
He's a miguel.

55:06 Speaker A
It started to go backwards.

55:14 Speaker C
As the showmad point, and we.

55:16 Speaker A
Started selling off 2025 mil. So it was good. 25 mil. We lost it. So you just took out the 2025 mil. That was profit. Still great profit.

55:39 Speaker C
Million Dollar.

55:46 Speaker A
I had to learn this from one of my mentors. Never be upset about there's no such thing as a bad profit. No such thing. Because sometimes you're like, if I'd have sold it all. And then he's like, Mike, half a million to 25. Come on now.

56:25 Speaker B
Moving forward, like, to today, you still got some of those coins.

56:29 Speaker A
Now, I mean, it's it's on another level now.

56:31 Speaker C
Miguel. Miguel.

Social Proof Podcast, mike sims, Episode #180 w/ Mike Sims

00:00 Speaker A
You took out the 2025 mil, we start selling.

00:04 Speaker B
That was profit still great profit. I had to learn this from one of my mentors. Never be upset about there's no such thing as a bad profit taking jagofa.

00:15 Speaker C
As the CAS mentor hashad kevin sudan bad booty and he sued bad name as punsat as nimilian dollar Punsa sunda Academy but crypto material madim adapto.

01:00 Speaker B
Okay, those are things because sometimes you're like, if I'd have sold it all, he's like, Mike, half a million to 25. Come on now.

01:10 Speaker D
Even moving forward, like to today, you.

01:12 Speaker B
Still got some of those going. Oh, yeah. Now, I mean it's it's on another.

01:19 Speaker A
Level now.

01:30 Speaker B
Because, you know, I learned a lot from that experience and also learned that when majority of time when something that is a legit asset, when it falls, it's going to come back up.

01:42 Speaker C
Miguel has amonika legit assets in Vijay.

02:09 Speaker B
And so we started doubling down at that point.

02:12 Speaker C
Moshe rukadim doubling down. And in dovarovalkadan hamichi kenayasink Hamichi tereshadarish.

02:24 Speaker B
Doing some other things and create some other businesses that attract more bitcoin business.

02:29 Speaker C
Idea that cannot bitcoin through education, things of that nature platform.

02:38 Speaker B
And now it's on another level. Now.

02:47 Speaker D
Do you still buy for yourself? Do you still buy crypto? What have you bought lately, Mike?

03:04 Speaker C
Cardano I bought some cardona.

03:06 Speaker B
Cardona based upon what I see.

03:12 Speaker C
Based upon what I see.

03:15 Speaker B
This is not any advice.

03:17 Speaker C
I'm not against a forest to financial advisor.

03:25 Speaker B
It could go all down the mall.

03:28 Speaker C
Between a father kamel mike, you said it.

03:39 Speaker D
You can't stop it.

03:45 Speaker B
You gotta lose it all.

03:49 Speaker C
You're gonna lose it all. How much is that? How was the jump?

03:53 Speaker B
But you like Cardano. You might win, but you're going to lose it all. What they're doing, the ecosystem.

04:06 Speaker C
They're creating the ecosystem. Ecosystem like it the vision they have.

04:15 Speaker B
The team, they have vision. Vatimikidaran some of my friends in Dubai were able to meet with one of the top guys in the company and they said, hey, the things they have planned for the future look really good from what I'm hearing now, that they will be on a level of Ethereum very soon with what they're putting together right now.

05:04 Speaker D
Where's Cardano at now?

05:07 Speaker B
I checked today.

05:08 Speaker D
Yeah, I typically check on a regular basis and Ethereum is at like, dancing between 2000, 3000, stuff like that. And I'm actually checking it right now. So Ethereum is at 3200 and Cardano is at $2.74.

05:31 Speaker C
Cardano dos do dollar seven half of the hoodie sent. And they're saying that Cardano biased worth.

05:41 Speaker B
This interview my guy.

05:43 Speaker C
Cardano del mirror. Cardano unzaman k individual garfan do dollar have got sent with ethereum say has already vistolar alon ethereum cardano c cent cvkido sent.

06:03 Speaker B
Joe, put your phone down. Joe.

06:07 Speaker C
Has david joe, stop buying cardano.

06:15 Speaker B
But again, you may lose it all. You will lose it all.

06:25 Speaker C
Right? System harsh. Dasman put it to nasdas you will lose it all.

06:33 Speaker B
But you may get lucky. Seriously though, I just like the team, what they put together. And it's another thing about crypto. People buy what they hear. That's why these meme stocks has gotten so popular. Dogecoin how you pronounce it? Doggy coin, whatever. Shibu something else. I took a hit on it. I got in because I knew there was a lot of dumb money in the market.

07:28 Speaker C
Dumb money. Pulle. Afro Diknogo hastan.

07:34 Speaker B
Got in for one day. 100 grand in one day. 100 grand in one day.

07:46 Speaker D
You take the money out?

07:47 Speaker B
Oh yeah. Every last bit of it.

07:53 Speaker C
Every last bit of it.

07:56 Speaker B
Every last bit. And I told the people that I knew that were in it, go ahead.

07:59 Speaker A
And take your money.

08:04 Speaker B
Because this is not good. There's no fundamentals, for sure. Yeah.

08:19 Speaker A
I feel like there's a group.

08:29 Speaker D
Chat where you like, Yo, that's where we at.

08:33 Speaker B
All right. So.

08:36 Speaker D
2017 was after you started hedge fund.

08:40 Speaker B
Yeah, correct. Around the same time, like Crypto first and hedge fund.

08:51 Speaker D
So how much did you put into the hedge fund?

08:56 Speaker B
Millions. Yeah.

08:57 Speaker D
Your own cash?

08:58 Speaker B
Yeah, own cash and then attracting more money too. But see, you don't have to put in millions to hedge fund. You just have to do all the legal processes and then you have to be have to have licensed individuals license, how to be your staff, or you have to be licensed to audit, bad. All these different things. So I'm CEO and co founder of the hedge fund.

09:35 Speaker C
I am CEO and co founder. Miguelman CEO hastam co founder.

09:47 Speaker B
We've got other partner funds as well that we have relationships with, that we swap strategies, share strategies, things of that nature. We also have another fund in the BVI.

10:03 Speaker C
The Virgin Islands funded the Yeham to Virgin Islander because of the regulations.

10:10 Speaker B
There are different than the regulations here, but you can set up what they call feeder funds where everything can kind of be fed into each other all legally. You're going to pay attorneys a ton of money right when you sit up here.

10:35 Speaker D
But then you got to find the actual I guess the actual business is predicated upon someone being really good at trading.

10:43 Speaker B
Trading, yeah.

10:45 Speaker C
Miguel business, a hedge fund mehlariatesh.

10:52 Speaker B
Correct. Or relationships that you set up with partner funds and things of that nature. Trading is important or having good people is important, for sure.

11:15 Speaker D
If I'm a trader, why would I work for you?

11:20 Speaker C
David Fasthon, manik trader.

11:24 Speaker B
Because traders are terrible. I won't say terrible because I do know one that is good at attracting people.

11:39 Speaker C
Jazz, AfroT Valley. They're terrible. Terrible. Yani F Design mishna Sam Yena Fariki Valley Darwre Trade nikki Car Konajalokti Jazzba Fraud.

12:16 Speaker B
I found that their skill set is not telling people what they do.

12:21 Speaker C
Well, Miguel.

12:32 Speaker B
It'S not sales because you're not selling, but you're selling.

12:39 Speaker D
My thing is why don't I just sit home and just trade my own money?

12:42 Speaker C
David miguel.

12:45 Speaker B
Trade konam farat because their dream is to trade for a fund.

12:52 Speaker C
My team.

12:57 Speaker B
Or trade large amounts of money. Because if they attract more money, they earn more money. That's their dream.

13:16 Speaker D
They can make more money trading with you than they can on their on.

13:20 Speaker B
For sure.

13:27 Speaker C
Hedge funding smile seems.

13:32 Speaker B
Miguel we got some of the traders from big banks. They were making 300 grand salary. That's nothing compared to profit sharing.

13:42 Speaker C
Miguel as I want a big bank trade. Trade in Kadan. Miguel masalan adadika allah Valencia wrapped as an Obela moist and his bone. Adadika bone dar saturn.

14:10 Speaker B
Really? Oh, yeah. Nothing compared to it.

14:26 Speaker D
What does a good trader make?

14:30 Speaker B
It depends, but seven figures. Traders make seven figures.

14:43 Speaker C
You pay trader hot half ragami migrant.

14:45 Speaker D
Pay some of your traders seven figures.

14:51 Speaker C
Million dollar salkaram konan the results, they.

15:00 Speaker B
Create seven figures for them.

15:06 Speaker D
I see. Based on a formula percentage.

15:09 Speaker C
Okay. Fahmid.

15:13 Speaker B
We don't pay salaries and things of that nature again, because that means they're employees. Means they're employees. They're incentivized to do well because they're getting paid a portion of profits as the fund does.

15:40 Speaker C
Miguel angizadi as to the Kolromi and.

15:47 Speaker B
That'S another thing we do different. We don't charge fund fees and all this kind of stuff because I would be pissed if somebody was making money and they weren't making me any money. So we all ended together. So the traders are happy, clients are happy. The fund is growing.

16:11 Speaker C
Injury manika race Fund has some inmates.

16:22 Speaker D
Traders make seven figures.

16:24 Speaker C
Not all trader.

16:29 Speaker B
Yeah, good ones. Good ones.

16:34 Speaker A
You got some good ones.

16:39 Speaker D
That was about account?

16:40 Speaker B
Yeah, we got whoever did that trader.

16:46 Speaker C
Is Roger Vica trader. David mike. Miguel he is on another level on twix Saturday.

17:02 Speaker B
It's safe to assume. I'm not going to put his business.

17:05 Speaker C
Out, but mitunam Brohatino begam alotanabay at coreshova.

17:14 Speaker B
One day you'll meet him, but he is pushing $100 million.

17:24 Speaker C
Sad million dollar dar solana million dollar.

17:38 Speaker B
Himself, yeah. I hope you don't get too rich and just quit. No, he loves it.

17:54 Speaker C
Because if you have Miguel Konichi.

18:03 Speaker B
Watch what he's doing, he's probably trading in totality. I want to say slow day on a challenging day.

18:23 Speaker C
Cruiser sacked cole trade hours do so sate Cruz is sacked.

18:32 Speaker B
On a normal day, he's in and out of trades probably an hour or less.

18:42 Speaker D
But I'm seeing all my little app. It's like all day trades.

18:47 Speaker C
Well miguel man faking.

18:51 Speaker B
No, if you look at the timestamps, there are a lot of trades coming right after each.

18:58 Speaker A
Other in a short.

19:04 Speaker B
Computer time, right? Yeah. So he's working. So it may be Asian. Session opens at around so we don't eastern time 838 30 hours time here.

19:19 Speaker C
Hashtonim Zamana, Malay.

19:23 Speaker B
Then you got London session opening.

19:26 Speaker C
London has market.

19:28 Speaker B
London was 230 in the morning. New York session opening 839 o'clock.

19:36 Speaker C
New York session. New York. BOSN York. Bad bosnia.

19:38 Speaker B
So you start to see different things happen around those times. Sometimes during the day he does. Sometimes he looks at the market and say, it's a lot of sharks in the water right now. Out of the market. Sometimes he'll I call it the Cal Ripkin and the Barry Bond strategy. Sometimes he's just dinking on base, hits small trades, boom, boom. And then sometimes you'll see an opportunity to go bear bonds and hit a home run and you'll see a trade that just knocks it out of the park.

20:39 Speaker C
Trade has to.

20:45 Speaker B
So it just depends on him.

20:46 Speaker A
He has.

20:49 Speaker B
Complete 100% control on that because he knows more about it than I do. Now, there are some times of the month where we say, okay, things are looking really good this month from a profitability standpoint. All the clients are happy.

21:08 Speaker C
Give Advertise.

21:19 Speaker B
Everything'S good, throttle back. Because some people don't have long term strategy. Their strategy personally is month to month.

21:27 Speaker C
Basis strategy, negotiation, long term.

21:38 Speaker B
And so you don't want to be Barry Bonds on just the 30th of the month, and that's a 10% loss for the day.

22:00 Speaker C
Risky NemaCon.

22:04 Speaker B
That person. The strategy is kind of in the tank. Not in the tank, but not as good as it could have been. Got you. And then at the same time we can tinker with it and say, let's take this person off right now.

22:28 Speaker C
As to faze Mommy, they're good, they're.

22:31 Speaker B
Happy, and that's fine. There's a lot of things we could do depending on each person.

22:52 Speaker D
I would have never thought there are traders making seven figures.

22:55 Speaker B
Oh yeah.

22:56 Speaker C
Up eight, nine figures to sell Miguel miguel Hashra Ram Masalan.

23:11 Speaker B
For sure.

23:12 Speaker D
What does it take to be a good trader, though? They got to be watching the news.

23:16 Speaker B
Or something on a regular basis. There's world events, there's fundamentals. Remember, say for instance, the foreign exchange market. You're looking at what's happening in different countries.

23:34 Speaker C
Foreign exchange HallIf. Foreign exchange has to foreign exchange.

23:50 Speaker B
Because that's going to affect their currency, right? There's some good educators out there, some good teachers. Jessica Lane is a great teacher. She's here in Atlanta. She's good.

24:10 Speaker C
Educator or your teacher.

24:15 Speaker B
Too? She called me. No, she does some stuff for me outside of the fun, but she's eventually.

24:24 Speaker D
Emmy, that group chat. Don't be in a group chat.

24:28 Speaker B
She does a lot of stuff for me personally.

24:34 Speaker C
Okay, manas, Rama Valley, but a shark.

24:42 Speaker B
Outside of the fund. But she's probably going to start trading some of the capital in the fund too. She's good. She's 100% better educator on trading than I am.

25:01 Speaker C
Trading. Sadder. Sad as a man. Educator. Educator. And he owns the hand.

25:07 Speaker B
Want to ask me how to trade and all this? Call Jessica. Yeah, she's really good at trading and her analysis is really good. I'm impressed. Matter of fact, she'll probably watch this podcast. I'm telling her to be Barry Bonds more man.

25:38 Speaker C
Mohammed Bonds. Manzki.

25:43 Speaker B
Because trust yourself. And that's one of the hardest things to do. When you have your own money, then you have other people's money. You have a fiduciary responsibility to do the right thing by and for that person, no matter what it does for you, that person is the most important person, period. So when you have that responsibility and you have someone with a good heart and you couple that with a little fear, then you can be cautious.

26:36 Speaker C
Indotoki michan yekutu tar meadlasa not trust your skill set. Skill set.

26:48 Speaker B
And so it's very important.

26:52 Speaker C
What I'm telling her is to trust your skill set.

26:59 Speaker B
And I know this past week I've been watching her, she has started to increase lot sizes and swing a little bit harder. So I'm proud of what she's doing.

27:07 Speaker D
We'll have her on the podcast. She's going to have me in the group chat. That's it.

27:10 Speaker B
So I'll tell you a lesson I learned from a conversation, and I used to do this again before. The pandemic is once a month, I would take someone to lunch that has a skill set or they're good at what they do. And I want to learn from that person because I know I can learn something from that person that's applicable to my business or my.

27:50 Speaker C
Guijot business life.

27:56 Speaker B
In general, for sure. So people that know me well, they know I really have only one fear. And one of the fears kind of leads to like a second mini fear is I have a terrible fear of heights. People say all the time, you're six five, why are you afraid of height? My feet on.

28:30 Speaker C
65 yani shisho panchamrica pathet khalibulande shishnoka panch hasi as ERTE.

28:44 Speaker B
Forto on the ground. I don't fool around with heights. You will never see me owning a penthouse. I have no desire to. Matter of fact, if you have a penthouse on the beach, you can't even hear the waves. So why do you want a penthouse on the beach? I don't care about the view. I don't want to go to Grand Canyon. I can watch it on YouTube. I don't care about heights is not my thing. Which, of course, leads to my fear of flying. Even though I do it a lot. I just don't like turbulence.

29:43 Speaker B
And so when turbulence happened, I get.

29:45 Speaker C
To have all you have turbulence touched over shed.

29:55 Speaker B
With all the other people around me. I'm not tripping now, but I get upset with other people around me. They don't realize that we're shaking in. And they don't act like they act like it's nothing happening. You hear all the stuff. This is speed bumping air. No, we're 30,000ft. It's a little bit different.

30:29 Speaker C
In Dostonic.

30:35 Speaker B
I sat down and went to lunch with a young lady who.

30:38 Speaker C
Was a man in Dava.

30:47 Speaker B
Mountain climber.

30:50 Speaker C
Mountain climber. Good on yek, Kunawar. Good.

30:54 Speaker B
I would never climb a mountain for obvious reasons. I said, well, tell me about the experience. First of all, I told Australia, I think it's stupid. Why would you climb a mountain? I think it looks, you know, you put your life at risk, et cetera.

31:27 Speaker C
It was in the guitarist.

31:31 Speaker B
So explain to me the methodology behind it, what are you thinking, et cetera. She says, first of all, Mike, I don't have that fear of flying. Excuse me, fear of heights. And I said, I can understand that part, and let me correlate it.

31:54 Speaker C
I said mango, Samki. Okay?

32:02 Speaker B
I said, well, how would you do in front of 100,000 people speaking? She said, I would pass out in faint me. No problem whatsoever.

32:20 Speaker C
Valiman asanhishmasarina.

32:27 Speaker B
300,000. Not a problem. Climbing a mountain? Absolutely no way. So I understand now. Perspective. She said, well, here's what you don't see, Mike.

32:44 Speaker C
Number one.

32:48 Speaker B
All the training before we get to the mountain.

32:53 Speaker C
Training hoychemova.

33:02 Speaker B
Okay. Number two, our equipment checks.

33:08 Speaker C
Equipment checks. Yani unabazoro lottika moderim boho vishnimon.

33:20 Speaker B
She says our equipment checks. When I do an equipment check, it lasts an hour.

33:27 Speaker C
Equipment absorb hoshim konam yek so at sarah.

33:42 Speaker B
Mitunan to make sure my equipment is ready and there's no chance of my equipment failing. Number three, the technique and how we as mountain climbers, we analyze the mountain.

34:03 Speaker C
Technique as masirva kuva in Hodari and.

34:10 Speaker B
We make sure we have our path. We're not just going and just looking.

34:14 Speaker C
This no, we mission.

34:21 Speaker B
We have a path that we're going to take going up that mountain. She said, number four, I think she said was, we don't take another step until we know we're firmly entrenched in the last one.

34:33 Speaker C
Minghivam shamala.

34:52 Speaker B
Of heights. We're minimizing risk. Every step we take.

35:00 Speaker C
Risk minimum.

35:02 Speaker B
Whereas you look at it as, this is crazy.

35:05 Speaker C
Valitocha June. Wow. In Divanagia Amar, our risk is getting less and less and less risk.

35:17 Speaker B
The closer we get to the top or.

35:19 Speaker C
The high archer.

35:24 Speaker B
We get. I said, wow, that's a perspective.

35:27 Speaker C
Mangoftam kev. Wow.

35:31 Speaker B
And so how does that apply to business?

35:33 Speaker C
Of course.

35:36 Speaker B
People look at trading or.

35:38 Speaker C
Investing or something as risky trade cardan.

35:47 Speaker B
It'S not. When you have people who know what.

35:50 Speaker C
They'Re doing in risky knees.

35:55 Speaker B
Who got.

35:56 Speaker C
The education, who no musician should be.

35:58 Speaker B
Done, charted out the path, were firmly entrenched to the moves they're going to make, their equipment.

36:12 Speaker C
They check their knowledge, they check the markets, they know the market to check fundamentals, fundamental and all these things. The risk is minimal risk minimum. Hashi when you're dealing with people that.

36:29 Speaker B
Know what they're doing because the risk management stuff is in place. That's what I was telling. I tell Jess, your equipment, you've done the equipment check. You've done what you need to do. And to any other traders that are out there, of course, don't do anything.

36:57 Speaker C
Foolish, but when you're ready, go for it, okay?

37:05 Speaker B
Go for it. Because one thing about trading is if you have a bad day, tomorrow is.

37:11 Speaker C
A better day trading and octehats, I got to amruze.

37:19 Speaker D
That's a fact. So how did you start, Joe? Okay, so you put money into the hedge.

37:29 Speaker C
Fund and then you go get.

37:33 Speaker D
All your licenses and stuff.

37:34 Speaker C
Rabad miri hame Mojave.

37:40 Speaker D
And then you recruit a trader.

37:43 Speaker C
Rabad Miri trader.

37:45 Speaker B
You attract them. Sure, you attract them. You let people know what you're doing. People start to hear about what you're doing. They are attracted to you based upon relationships, based upon things you've done in the past. Some people say, Well, I know you've been successful. A majority of things you've done in the past. If you're going to do this, I'm trusting you to do it. And some conversations I have with people are, our interest is in you and in getting you the best returns possible, and we're going to do it as safe as possible because.

38:56 Speaker B
One thing I don't want to do is lose money.

39:03 Speaker D
That's a fact.

39:04 Speaker B
If I'm riding down the road in my Rolls Royce, quarter falls out of my pocket as soon as I can stop to get it, I'm that person. I don't like to lose money. This is because I know the value of it and the sacrifice it takes.

39:33 Speaker C
To make it as.

39:40 Speaker B
And I'll never get to the point where I'm not humble enough to know that every every dollar, every penny counts.

39:56 Speaker C
Hard dollar, your hard cent, Mohammed.

39:58 Speaker B
Because when you're buying something and no matter what it is, and it is $$5.04.99 will not cover it.

40:13 Speaker C
And the price is the price, and.

40:17 Speaker B
So everything is valuable.

40:20 Speaker D
Let me ask you this. What level can someone come in and.

40:26 Speaker C
Invest with you with level to be advasage?

40:32 Speaker B
Normally it's six figures, but there are opportunities that we open up for individuals who have.

40:50 Speaker C
Minimum konan to a H fund, minimum size or to Lord.

41:12 Speaker B
Have less. Those are individual conversations. When you say less, 50,000. If it's a friend of yours, 25.

41:31 Speaker D
I got five grand.

41:33 Speaker B
Yeah, well, here's the thing. I'm not saying no. I'm saying that a lot of times when individuals invest five grand, it's because two reasons could be one, they're afraid. Five grand, they can charge us to the game. Okay.

42:05 Speaker C
They'Re afraid.

42:09 Speaker B
Or two, that is all they can afford right now. And if that's all they could afford, I would tell them to continue to work hard to get yourself in a position where you have six months to a year, depending on what your profession is. The rule is six months to a year in reserve, armageddon or some kind of COVID It won't be the last pandemic prayerfully. It is, but it might not be.

43:11 Speaker B
This is not even over. Something can happen where you're going to need your reserve cash. So have that six months to a year in reserve. So if something happens or when something happens you and your family are not in a bad situation.

43:35 Speaker C
I mean, I get it to follow.

43:41 Speaker B
After that. Any money you have should not be sitting in the bank, it should be working for you.

43:47 Speaker C
Bad as Nikki had a pool.

43:54 Speaker D
You don't keep a lot of cash in the bank?

44:01 Speaker B
I got six months to a year in reserve.

44:04 Speaker C
Man shishmata? Yesalam. Born when a reserve.

44:08 Speaker B
At two of my homes.

44:09 Speaker C
I have a safe, daram dotokunaham safe.

44:14 Speaker B
With some, you know, if you know.

44:24 Speaker C
You get away stashmate.

44:39 Speaker B
No, the money's got to be working. Has got to be working. Absolutely.

44:47 Speaker D
So you're not impressed with the number in the bank?

44:56 Speaker B
I'm impressed with the number in investments.

45:04 Speaker D
I guess you keep business. Okay. So for instance, I have a business account called business accounts and then a personal account. I don't have really much money in the personal account. But you're saying the business account money in the bank is not a good play either.

45:21 Speaker C
Miguel business.

45:32 Speaker B
My personal philosophy is so even the business, again, depending on what that business is, if you have a business that needs constant injection all the time, that's different. And I'll give you a personal example. Venture capital. When you're investing into a project to.

46:01 Speaker C
A basket, venture capital.

46:08 Speaker B
Sometimes you're going to need capital sitting aside that's readily available when something arises and you need to inject more capital. So that's a different situation. But the rule of thumb that's worked.

46:37 Speaker C
For me and what I would advise.

46:41 Speaker B
Because of vehicles that I have access to with it is I am losing money every day. That money is sending the bank.

46:53 Speaker C
Man haruzdaram. Pulasam.

47:00 Speaker B
Now, here's the good thing about it. When you're investing in certain vehicles, it is not a bank, but it is similar to it. Because if you call me tomorrow and say, mike, I got an emergency, I need to pull some cash, you're going to have that within 48 hours. So it's similar to it, except the bank, in my opinion, they are good for some things, but they are.

48:09 Speaker B
Matter of fact, I used to say the bank was the biggest scam in the world until I own one. Now I like banking.

48:28 Speaker C
So you own a Basset?

48:32 Speaker B
Yes, we own bank. Fully regulated LCA.

48:40 Speaker C
LCA regulated.

48:43 Speaker B
In London.

48:44 Speaker A
My partners.

48:48 Speaker B
It's Digital Bank.

48:50 Speaker C
Digital has we haven't even released it yet. We're going to Mohanus to, umum.

49:01 Speaker B
We'Re probably about two months out.

49:03 Speaker D
You'll be issuing debit cards and stuff.

49:09 Speaker C
Debit card to car to Inocado.

49:13 Speaker B
Correct. So there's levels. So we'll issue debit cards. Then eventually we'll get to the point. As we build assets in the bank, we'll do credit loan.

49:27 Speaker C
Debit card, southern validor.

49:34 Speaker B
Other things of that nature. But we saw a market around the world outside of the US. 70% of people don't have access to banking.

49:49 Speaker C
Half daughters.

49:54 Speaker B
Really don't have access to banking. Here in the it's a norm here in the US. I got a friend of mine, we.

50:11 Speaker D
Were having.

50:15 Speaker C
A group chat as a Mihadi as well.

50:24 Speaker B
I'm you need some marketing for the bag. I provide value, absolutely.

50:31 Speaker C
To Guru Man. I did. I provide value, man. I'm out of this one. Joe, we're going to talk about a.

50:37 Speaker B
Lot of things for sure.

50:38 Speaker D
All these group chats, I need you.

50:40 Speaker B
To filter them to me. I'm a screenshot everything. If you go to I was telling you a friend of was having lunch with them.

#.Mike Sims P4 [48;39]

Social Proof Podcast, mike sims, Episode #180 w/ Mike Sims

00:01 Speaker A
All these group chats. I need you to filter them to me. So if you go to I was telling you, a friend of mine was having lunch with him a couple of days ago in Miami. He does a lot of parties and things of that nature in the Latin American community. And he did a party for it.

00:32 Speaker B
Was predominantly Dominican party. Dominican organizer a party has party, dominican habudan party.

00:48 Speaker A
He said, we never taken in so much cash at an event before because in Latin America and other parts of the world, they're still using a lot of cash. They don't use a lot of banking is like for there's very little middle class in a lot of these other countries.

01:20 Speaker B
Middle class.

01:28 Speaker A
Are literally the have and the have littles and so it's not have knots. They have little and then of course, you might have knots at the very bottom of the chain there. But yeah, so we saw that market there and everything is a process. A lot of legal, a lot of money, all those different things. I got great partners and so we'll be has seen fully FCA regulated Europe and that urupa will be launching around.

02:22 Speaker B
The world in Bonstar Bahami doing your hadamat be a billionaire real soon.

02:28 Speaker A
Mike that's the goal, man that's the goal.

02:30 Speaker B
Miguel mike fake media dermishio. Miguel for what I have to become.

02:37 Speaker A
To do it and the people I'm going to take with me and the. I have to attract in relationships. I was in within probably the next.

03:18 Speaker B
Week at the most two, I'm going.

03:22 Speaker A
To be named co CEO of a publicly traded company.

03:26 Speaker B
Man CEO your CEO darwre CEO after I and shama to your akwar khaidi.

03:46 Speaker A
It'S publicly traded on the OTC right now. Over the counter pink sheets.

03:56 Speaker B
Over the counter pink sheet. Mandoshiki sahomike.

04:06 Speaker A
Market, small socks, penny socks.

04:08 Speaker B
They call them beshunming yan SAHome penny stocks.

04:14 Speaker A
You're involved? Yeah, correct. Would you like that?

04:25 Speaker B
Chat group has to be a part of that group.

04:30 Speaker A
Chat it's already publicly traded. Already publicly traded. Already publicly traded.

04:35 Speaker B
Miguel hami alone to a public SAHome publicly traded. Hasan public traded.

04:58 Speaker A
You could buy a stock right now. How much is the stock right now? Between one and $0.02 right now. Joe I don't know what I can say, like, legally on camera as a co CEO because I don't want to get any inside of trading and things of that nature. Sure, okay. You could tell me. Yeah, we'll do another podcast in about a week or two. It's about to hit. Oh, yeah. When I assume that position. We're already working now.

05:46 Speaker A
My right hand person I mentioned earlier, she's at the company right now. Person that you said they're working right now. Where's the site being traded on every yeah, you can go to ETrade trade.

06:18 Speaker B
Platform. I came to come on Fidelity.

06:24 Speaker A
Robin Hood.

06:24 Speaker B
Fidelity, ETrade.

06:26 Speaker A
I'm not sure right now. Yeah, because I want to make sure I don't violate any inside of trading laws and things of that nature. You're not going to tell me you after this record?

06:41 Speaker B
Miguel michaela Darunika, mandarambiro. Mirami.

06:51 Speaker A
No, mike. I trust you, bro. You are? Yeah. Let me ask you, what do you feel like it takes to become a billionaire? Partner with publicly traded companies.

07:17 Speaker B
Traded your own bank, a huge hedge fund where it's a few hundred million dollars.

07:29 Speaker A
That you're playing with every day. What do you feel like it takes to become a billionaire? It's more time now. More time, more relationship. There will be in general not for you or yes. What do you have to become to be a billionaire?

08:03 Speaker B
Solo insect tarivati.

08:11 Speaker A
The mindset has to be right first. You had to set the goal. Okay.

08:18 Speaker B
Hada photoBAD bezari in hadafro kagamilia bad mindset.

08:25 Speaker A
Mindset has to be right. When I was doing a lot of public speaking, one of my les browns told me this you got to have.

08:34 Speaker B
A go to talk beginning shafts. Go to talk to go to talk any yet.

09:02 Speaker A
In public speaking, like when someone asks you to just talk about something, that's your go to thing that you can talk about. And mine is something that I kind of stole and molded from other mentors I've had over the years.

09:24 Speaker B
As mentor. Hoy hodam dos the dama begam years.

09:33 Speaker A
But it's really five pieces to the puzzle of life. Number one is your personal philosophy, how you think, how you think helps you to attract the things that you need to become who you are. And that could be good or bad.

10:05 Speaker B
Because there are people right now.

10:10 Speaker A
I grew up in a household of educators.

10:13 Speaker B
Man to yekunaye manam k omu educators.

10:25 Speaker A
My dad had some entrepreneurial spirit. Mom. Both my parents did not grow up with money. They grew up poor. Poor, but they were educators, got educated and have done well for themselves. I retired my parents when they were 50. They're both 71 now. They have not worked in 21 years.

11:09 Speaker B
That's my most proud achievement in bozoktandas.

11:16 Speaker A
But I grew up in a household where you hear money than grown trees or it costs too much or get your education because nobody can take that away from who wants it. Don't buy that house. It's too big. Somebody else could be living in there.

11:56 Speaker B
With you, afraid.

12:07 Speaker A
You think about it. Who's going to be living in there with me? Where are they going to say the alarm system, that car costs too much. Yeah, but have you written in that car? It's different. You understand now out why it costs this much, the quality of it.

12:35 Speaker B
Or if I buy a gucci belt.

12:39 Speaker A
Compared to one from Walmart.

12:46 Speaker B
As a supermarket of Walmart, I have to buy.

12:49 Speaker A
The Walmart one every month, I guess.

12:51 Speaker B
Walmart because I'm going to tear it up. Thank you. Paramichia gucci belts.

12:57 Speaker A
For eight years I was at gucci the other day and they looked up one of the belts I forgot the size. They looked up a belt from eight years ago that I still wear, and it's still in good condition. So the quality but we are programmed with different philosophies from school, mobile, fal.

13:18 Speaker B
Safahi program, from our parents, from relationships we have.

13:30 Speaker A
And you have to start working on that philosophy by working harder on yourself than you do on your business. You got to work hard on your mind. That's why when you people that win a lottery or sometimes athletes or whoever comes into a lot of money if they don't grow to meet, the money will always run back to me too.

14:27 Speaker B
Wherever you are, every single time, harbor in tasmineta formula.

14:32 Speaker A
So you have to continue to grow in personal development and never think you know it all and stay humble. I like the fact that when people meet me that they don't feel like I am just somebody from outer space.

14:57 Speaker B
Or something, mandu.

15:04 Speaker A
I'm still down earth.

15:06 Speaker B
Humble because money doesn't make me.

15:09 Speaker A
It helps to create options for me, but it has not changed me because I'm always going to do right or the best thing for and by people, period. So your personal philosophy is number one. Your personal philosophy is going to lead to the next thing, and that is your. Your attitude sucks. Everything you touch is going to suck.

15:56 Speaker B
I get nayara shishama attitude. Hamish is going to attract sucky people.

16:07 Speaker A
You're going to attract people that have no ambition. You're going to attract people that are negative about everything. I call them Negative Nancy and Pessimist Pete. They're out there. They're all over.

16:25 Speaker B
They're all over.

16:28 Speaker A
The place. And they will suck the energy out of you. They will drain you if your philosophy is right. Those people with bad attitudes, they may be around you for a little while, and then they figure out, I can't bring this mess here. He's not going to listen, Mike. Don't even listen to that. And I tell people, I'm going to listen to your issues. And notice I say issue a problem to me is a terminal illness.

17:27 Speaker B
Man Hasam kebab.

17:52 Speaker A
That's a problem, okay? Even then there'll still be some hope. But at some point they say, we've done all we can then. Now you're praying things then, but we've done all we can. That's a problem. Majority of time an issue. If there's more money or education involved, those are two things that we can go get.

18:29 Speaker B
Mass alehaspia to make that issue go away.

18:39 Speaker A
So that's an issue. That's not a problem. We don't know or we don't have the money.

18:47 Speaker B
Masala money has kishama.

18:50 Speaker A
And those are two things that are plentiful in this world. It's just circulating. You got to figure out a way to channel it in your direction. And so that happens with the philosophy and the attitude of the money, which leads to the third thing the activity. So you got to.

19:28 Speaker B
Activity, philosophy and attitude.

19:31 Speaker A
Now you go do the activities. Now, here's the beautiful part about this. If you go jump into activities with the wrong attitude and philosophy.

19:47 Speaker B
I get beeparitrit and Valley falza fish.

19:54 Speaker A
You're going to screw up every time.

19:56 Speaker B
To harabor facts every single time.

19:59 Speaker A
It's never going to work because you don't have the right philosophy. You don't have the right attitude. And attitude philosophy helps to create the right culture. Your activities. You will never be successful. It'll never work out.

20:26 Speaker B
You will fail to hitchhaf moharna every.

20:31 Speaker A
Time unless you get lucky.

20:33 Speaker B
And I don't believe in Maggie and Kishan spirit business to bamaplan building the business on luck.

20:43 Speaker A
I believe on building a business on what I can calculate. I don't build any business on IFCOM. I build it on income.

20:55 Speaker B
What if I manhichiro but if comes name is incomes mrs income, you need that. Omat IFCOM bajay ingo beyond.

21:22 Speaker A
I told you.

21:23 Speaker C
For $1, I will introduce you India. To hundreds of entrepreneurs every single morning this week from all across the country. You'll be able to talk to hundreds of entrepreneurs. And I'll coach you. I'll coach you for a dollar this whole week, and I'll introduce you to some of my successful friends for a dollar this week. Would you take part in that? Well, go to themrningmeetup.com, because that's exactly what we're doing here, okay? The only organization that gathers entrepreneurs every single day for the betterment of entrepreneurship, okay? Every single day, monday through Friday, we gather. We're growing, we're learning. We got a book club. Have you ever seen hundreds of entrepreneurs reading the same book every single chapter, every single day? We're growing together. Okay? You need the environment to grow in. Themrningmeetup.com a dollar. I'm going to give you all this for a dollar. If you want to stay, great. It's $79 a month. After that, if not, no obligation. You can leave whenever you want.

22:17 Speaker B
All right?

22:17 Speaker C
Themrningmeetup.com. I'll see you in the morning.

22:20 Speaker A
You can't build a business on IFCOM.

22:22 Speaker B
Explain it.

22:28 Speaker A
People say, Well, I'm going to buy this car when this money comes. Or if this happens right here, then I'm going to do this. You can't build a business like that. You can't run your house like that. It's got to be income that you can calculate. If this happens right here. Like, I have people right now even investing. I'm going to do this in three months. When this is this.

23:27 Speaker A
No, you're going to watch this and you're going to develop or take care of that. When it's there, don't build it. Hoping hope is a terrible business strategy.

23:38 Speaker B
Donamituni as omid born on a strategy. Terrible, terrible business in follow the vashatnai mohar goodness gracious.

23:50 Speaker A
Philosophy. Philosophy. Okay?

23:52 Speaker B
Falzafe doros that will change your attitude.

23:58 Speaker A
Your attitude will ultimately dictate how you act.

24:07 Speaker B
Your activities, your activities, action, hoyato activity.

24:11 Speaker A
And then the fourth thing that you're looking for is results. All those things are going to lead to you having the right results or getting the right results. If you skip any of them or have stepped with any of them, your results will be terrible.

24:28 Speaker B
Or they your skippishconiji will not be.

24:46 Speaker A
As good as they could be. Like my Spanish lessons.

24:53 Speaker B
Mr Espanya the philosophy is there falsafe Manuke has falcifajudoram. The attitude is not there BRAF Doram and agarisham dorosnist and the activity that.

25:09 Speaker A
Affected the activity, the results. My results suck.

25:50 Speaker B
Sharikadi because you can have results, but.

25:56 Speaker A
Your results can grow, which create lifestyle.

25:59 Speaker B
Like Miguel Tazava lifestyle.

26:06 Speaker A
Miras when you're just getting started, the result is now I'm out of debt. You still don't have lifestyle yet. The result is I paid off the house. The result is I paid off. I'm no longer in debt. I'm not a slave to any debt. That's an accomplishment in itself. The result is I've leveraged myself out of my job. You still don't have the lifestyle yet that I think you aspire every week. But your lifestyle has improved. But it's still probably not that ultimate lifestyle yet.

26:51 Speaker A
And again, that's different for everybody, for sure, when you get the result of the b next to your name, because now it makes more sense because you always wear that shirt three comma club. Yes, sir. Now it makes sense. Well, when you get that result, how do you feel like that result is going to change your lifestyle?

27:26 Speaker B
Yes, there were ah t shirt, three commas mashasanami Pushan ya migiran life is style. Hasani Alamuta Migiri NATO.

27:57 Speaker A
It has to change.

27:59 Speaker B
You know what, Miguelman? Inik hatsman.

28:11 Speaker A
It will probably, number one, allow me to attract more opportunities.

28:18 Speaker B
Migiram Valvana opportunity hoy Bishari row to zendejaspo konam moriato bishiramalan moriate bishta.

28:34 Speaker A
Number two, I am determined to not let it change me because there's not much I can't do right now that I want to do that I can't afford to do. So I don't really think it's going to change me per se in ways that you can physically see, because. Here'S another thing, especially in the unfortunately, in the minority communities, especially, we look at success based on how many liabilities someone has.

29:35 Speaker B
Fan liability. Liability to a Bassetto in Habamanoye pedi Moshino Hunawo in Haman kijamiri from Moshino as Negohe wow in Odamo.

30:36 Speaker A
How many cars they have, homes and things of that nature. Instead of looking at the investment portfolio. And the impact they had on.

30:53 Speaker B
Other people, that has zero. Nakshika infariator to get there.

31:04 Speaker A
I call it going from success to a significance.

31:08 Speaker B
Man. Especially Mizaram hadikatasma significance. Significance.

31:17 Speaker A
That's a big difference. I haven't been able to figure out how it will change me. It will. Just because I've learned this in business, too. I operate in business just like this.

31:35 Speaker B
Miguel Keshadi AVAs machine job migueman twitter mikona pine Nadar and sometimes it frustrates.

31:54 Speaker A
The people around me. The reason why is when I first got into business in network marketing, when I would recruit somebody, I was high in the sky. When they didn't do nothing, I was in the dumps. They finally do something or I recruit somebody else, they did something. I'm high. When they didn't do something, I'm low again. If that's stressful, and I believe that stress is a choice, because if you continue to do things that you know are causing you stress, you're choosing to do things.

32:54 Speaker A
You're choosing stress. Eliminate those things out of your life. I operate like this in business.

33:11 Speaker B
Okay? And hopky.

33:29 Speaker A
Because there's some big things right now going on in business where my team is jacked out of their mind right now. I'm like this because I know tomorrow.

33:45 Speaker B
We could get a call, man haminda telephone.

33:59 Speaker A
And there's some kind of issue that we're going to need to address for us to go back here. So I'm prepared right now for what's happening now on the inside. I'm happy, too, but I'm always thinking because here's the reason why I know everybody's looking at me. And if as a leader of a company or an organization, you can't afford to have a bad day, but tobo.

34:35 Speaker B
And want to leader your modiri tuni tawana. Yeah, there were a message.

34:55 Speaker A
You can have a bad five minutes, but you can't have a bad day.

35:02 Speaker B
A day.

35:05 Speaker A
Is expensive. A day is expensive, bro.

35:11 Speaker B
A day is expensive, especially when you.

35:15 Speaker A
Run a big bit. A day could cost us millions.

35:25 Speaker B
Negative. Bashim. Nomit bashim. Felon in Mituna milan.

35:30 Speaker A
A bad day, bro. You know how expensive that is? You walk in the office and you moping a little bit, it changes the culture. My man is trading. Hang on. That's an expensive day. It's expensive. So I operate like this, and I don't get too high, too low. I stay like this.

36:15 Speaker A
But I like doing things, like secret things, like donating to certain things that do things for other people, and I don't even need the recognition for it. Sometimes you get it, but whether it's overhearing conversation at a store and they're talking about how much it costs I remember as a kid, we were not poor whatsoever. My parents, I don't know how they did it because my brother and I are big guys.

37:16 Speaker A
So our clothes were more expensive, our shoes were expensive. All this stuff was expensive. I don't know how they did it, based upon what I know now on there. My dad was in the administration and my mom was a counselor.

37:40 Speaker B
Administration, modiria counselor.

37:45 Speaker A
So they earn good incomes. But when you couple that with two giants in the house that are human garbage disposal, anything, I remember going to the kitchen and pouring in cereal and milk until one of them ran out.

38:07 Speaker B
Cereal, cereal.

38:16 Speaker A
Whichever one failed first, then I will stop. You ate all the cereal, man. Yeah, but the point I'm making is just overhearing those conversations at a store and just saying, hey, let me take care of this. This is during the Pandemic, they try to get zoom set up and all that. You need a new computer.

39:10 Speaker A
He's trying to do it on the phone, stuff like that. It's being to bless them, man with what do you call the big iPad thing? I don't even know what's called. Man just stuff like that. Man I'm telling you, there's no amount of money that can replace.

39:37 Speaker B
But the game in his kito, as in kara or doing business in Colombia, omega michelle Moshe business to Colombia has.

39:59 Speaker A
And one of my businesses that is International now.

40:04 Speaker B *************
International has managed omega in.

40:08 Speaker A
Colombia, we've got, I would estimate eight people now that earn seven figures a year. And the things they can do now, the things they are doing now in that country during the Pandemic, they're wealthy.

40:57 Speaker B
They're wealthy in Highland to Duran, Corona, Duran and John Colombia on how full of the Savad, man for for that they're wealthy.

41:08 Speaker A
Their biggest issue now is laying low because they're so wealthy. We didn't not a target. Safer than people. It's not Narcos, but when everybody around you is under a line correct. You're automatically upset. Correct. You are.

41:45 Speaker B
Pointer, Hassan. But.

41:48 Speaker A
You are. That's true. I tell them to lay low because they're on a private plane now. Stuff on Instagram post, everything.

42:02 Speaker B
Instagram post.

42:03 Speaker A ********************
But those are not Nigeria, France and Korea and all these different places. Man where you have impact like that just to see those things and now what they can do for their families. It's amazing. Man how many companies you got? Several. And it's because I got good people around me. Good people around. And the venture capitalist, the venture capital company, invests in companies that you now have ownership in, correct?

42:52 Speaker B
Exactly. Venture capital. Each other venture capital.

43:02 Speaker A
Exactly. And sometimes I take long term ownership because they want me to. Long term and short term. Long term. Like sometimes venture capital you're in to get a return on the money at a.

43:27 Speaker B
Born one. Venture capital to business.

43:36 Speaker A
Percentage and you're done. Or sometimes you're in if the company goes public and you got equity and you got loan.

43:45 Speaker B
Public michelin.

43:50 Speaker A
And sometimes it gets smaller and smaller depending on that person's ability to take over the deal.

44:03 Speaker B
And you might have own fat me tuna board seat or something like that.

44:19 Speaker A
But normally I take long term positions.

44:22 Speaker B
Normal. Man.

44:26 Speaker A
Because they like me being involved just as a. Resource, or they know I know resources. What's the smallest company you've invested in? Not the name of the company, but the amount do you invest in? Does it have to be a $20 million company? No, the one I'm investing, one I'm most excited about right now, the one that I'm going to be co CEO of.

45:19 Speaker A
It is going to be probably the smallest amount tested seven figures.

45:31 Speaker B
Right? And million dollar, but the largest return Valley Bishtarin.

45:43 Speaker A
Because the technology that we have that produces the product that we are taking to market is a game changer in several different verticals. There is disinfectant and cleaning vertical which we already have EPA certification on our.

46:34 Speaker B
Products that say we do certain things.

46:39 Speaker A
Again, you're dancing around. It's all good. We have verticals in energy sector energy.

46:49 Speaker B
Ham yesterday that is going to change the game. Changer has when I say change the.

47:01 Speaker A
Game that is a multibillion dollar sector.

47:04 Speaker B
In Yekpash Dawek sector chan Milartolari has.

47:08 Speaker A
A vertical in itself.

47:11 Speaker B
My biggest issue vertical kiming by physical amata vertical as her FAI Bay Manaska as safe. Toss that. And as I want to lead.

47:26 Speaker A
Is going to be as a company is going to be decide. We're going to decide on what three verticals to focus on, because there are probably six strong ones and you can't give the proper time to six. I think we can assemble and attract the team to do three.

48:00 Speaker B
Strong heavy valley for sure.

48:04 Speaker A
Yeah when you put me in the group chat we can all kind of discuss it.

48:10 Speaker B
Group chat as I can do the marketing marketing.

48:19 Speaker A
I'm excited for world to know about it.

48:22 Speaker B
Mike migueke Man Haijan.

48:27 Speaker A
I'm passionate about it. I'm excited for the world to know and here's why I'm most excited.

#.Mike Sims P5 (last) [49;42]

Social Proof Podcast, mike sims, Episode #180 w/ Mike Sims

00:00 Speaker A
You excited because most people, we hear about things when it's $40 a share or.

00:13 Speaker B
Mamulan mosan saham sha chello.

00:19 Speaker C
Lord, I can't wait to cut this.

00:22 Speaker A
Camera off because.

00:24 Speaker B
Say in bar nomaro tangish Konamoto.

00:33 Speaker A
We hear about things early, but late. Now it's opportunity for us and minority communities because I want to make sure that of course we're going to track money from all over the world. But to me, being a minority and this statistic may be wrong, but I read something again, I think I read it correctly.

01:16 Speaker A
If I remember correctly that between only four to 6% of minorities are involved in investing in any of the markets.

01:36 Speaker B
To harm on Kitty.

01:37 Speaker A
And the majority of it is through their own 401 KS on their job.

01:44 Speaker B
Four hundred and one. K and masalan.

01:53 Speaker A
Now it's getting better because of individuals like yourself. We got Wall Street trapper. Who. I love what he's doing him 500 and Marcus Barney nehemiah day. All these guys are letting people know what's out there and educating another generation. But my parents, 46%, my parents, they are in awe.

02:37 Speaker B
Validating ma'am, because I set up accounts.

02:42 Speaker A
For them and they've been on scholarship now I call it scholarship for 21 years.

02:54 Speaker B
Sugar jamishit invest parishion goes.

03:12 Speaker A
But they are in awe of what the numbers can be when they can actually see it, for sure. And so they're like, they're educated. They both got minimum one master's degree. I think both of them have two master's degrees in their fields. But they were never taught about investing and growing their money. They were taught about working for 30 years and then retiring and get a pension. And that's okay.

04:01 Speaker A
But in my opinion, based upon what I see right now, finance and where the world is going and people are living a little longer, that will not be enough.

04:25 Speaker B
In coffin. In coffinist.

04:32 Speaker A
And the philosophy is backwards because in false Arab yatka. You mean to tell me the philosophy is I work 30 years, I retire, and I have to now live on.

05:00 Speaker B
Less money, bad Bosnia.

05:10 Speaker A
What already wasn't enough, right? So now what do I do? And that's why you see people that are unless they want to go to work but you see people doing jobs at a certain age that they they probably don't want to do or shouldn't be doing but they have to which lets you know the system is broken.

06:07 Speaker B
Systemic for that because majority of time.

06:13 Speaker A
I would assume that those people have children. So you mean to tell me that and some of those children went to college? Maybe. And if they didn't, they got a job. Hopefully by now they're doing something with their life.

06:37 Speaker B
I got another college.

06:44 Speaker A
You mean to tell me that if you've got one, it's even worse if you got two or more children that they can't afford to take mom and dad out of the workforce and let them enjoy life after all they did for us.

07:54 Speaker A
That's an emotional subject for me parents, I didn't want for anything growing up, they took care of me. The driving force of me getting started in business was that was that they.

08:21 Speaker C
Raised three kids and those three kids can't retire especially like it's.

08:24 Speaker B
Yeah. David.

08:32 Speaker C
One parent.

08:42 Speaker A
It'S even worse when they know they shouldn't be working health. Reasons some of the things you see on their feet all day, unless they want to, that's one thing. But bro, it's like, man, and I think about it, man, you walk into a store or something and you see somebody like, man, if I didn't make certain decisions that could possibly be my parents, I like buying my parents new cars or getting them new cars every three years. They like to lease them because they can get a new one every three years. My dad is his turn now. So it's like I like stuff like that. Vacation. I like being able to do things like that. But it's because of decisions I made.

09:47 Speaker B
Vacation, holiday, miran Valisat, Mirand and as.

09:55 Speaker A
I was sharing earlier now there's no excuse for that because the information is there. They just watch your podcast, the library of what you put together and there's some other people out there and the information they put together earn your leisure if you watch these things for the.

10:35 Speaker B
Game, I thank you.

10:44 Speaker A
And don't just watch them, study them.

10:50 Speaker B
Study them for another show.

11:02 Speaker A
Break them down and ask questions and get in the room at different places. There's no excuse anymore.

11:08 Speaker C
I'll be trying to tell Joe that. I have a bunch more questions. I really want to get into how you started your venture capital. And also I got offered a million dollars for an equity stake in my podcast.

11:43 Speaker A
That's why I asked.

11:45 Speaker C
Yeah, I didn't take it, but as a venture capitalist, never mind because.

11:58 Speaker B
In podcast formula Dari had met.

12:13 Speaker C
I'm going to start asking questions and this podcast is going to be 3 hours.

12:16 Speaker A
We're definitely going to have bill part two. Yeah. I'll tell you this a simple answer. Venture capital. I got into it by investing in different startup ideas of friends that I had that had great ideas.

12:39 Speaker C
You want to invest in a podcast?

12:40 Speaker A
Do you want to be a business? We can discuss it, sure. I know we can do some work, some magic together, but I'll tell you, that's how it started. But then.

13:05 Speaker B
Venture capital, what happens is.

13:09 Speaker A
When you start doing that, sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't, for sure. And then you have to get more structure to it.

13:22 Speaker B
Valley Cam Cam, Cam, Cam but based system beddy based off torbedi, Muja, Vezoro, Begiri, dobara, felon.

13:35 Speaker A
And more legalities involved and you form the right entity to be able to do it the right way. That's basically how I did it.

13:52 Speaker C
But you wouldn't invest in a company less than seven figures.

14:00 Speaker A
Or this has.

14:01 Speaker C
To be an idea that you think is going to be something.

14:03 Speaker A
Yeah, it has to be big.

14:07 Speaker B
Mohammed moshe koshe Mike because everything I.

14:12 Speaker A
Do now has to be lifestyle friendly. Yeah.

14:20 Speaker B
Lifestyle friendly, man. But joy Garaman bovision. But life is a man.

14:34 Speaker A
But I don't want to do anything that's going to require a bunch of time for little return unless it's a friend. I believe in the idea to that. Okay.

14:58 Speaker B
Miguel King Jujut I don't let friends borrow money. I guess two, but there's only three.

15:13 Speaker A
Results that come from it. One, you lose your money, two, you lose your friend. Or three, both happens. Yeah. And then there's a scripture somewhere that.

15:37 Speaker B
The Miguel.

15:46 Speaker A
The borrower becomes a slave to the lender. I don't want my friends to be slaves. I don't do it.

16:03 Speaker C
They don't want to buy certain things around you.

16:05 Speaker A
And here's the thing though. This is a whole nother subject. Like friends of mine, clients, pro athletes, other clients. It's like and I did this too. You feel certain obligation to people who family and things of that nature. Of course you help your family out, but there has to be a budget for that. You do things like that. But you have to learn the power of saying no.

16:40 Speaker B
Valid boy at the out beginning to navigate.

16:43 Speaker A
And some of my clients, I'm the no gatekeeper for them.

16:51 Speaker B
Darbe noro mandyamdora mandar man naro migamato.

17:02 Speaker A
I have no problem saying no because when you don't say no, the bleeding doesn't stop and it just doesn't. And trust me, from example, I'm telling you, if you want to be remembered, borrow money. If you want to be forgotten, loan it.

17:31 Speaker B
I get Mikhail Faro mushbeshi cars better.

17:35 Speaker A
Seriously. Because you can't tell them a lie and say, I don't have it. So it's easy to say, no, I'm not going to do it. Not going to do it. Well, why not? Because I know how these situations turn out. Unless there's a clear defined plan on how this is going to come back to me.

18:11 Speaker B
Magarin kalana nabar mabnoya agar in umad agar.

18:28 Speaker A
Then the answer is no. So where is the plan now? If there's a plan that we can calculate based on income not IFCOM, then let's talk. But other than that, the answer is no. Not because I don't love you, but because I do love you and I want to keep our relationship. And if you don't want to keep the relationship now because I said no, then I need to reevaluate the relationship anyway. But let me talk to you about some of the things that I do that can possibly help you generate what you need. But the answer is no. And it's not because I don't like to or don't want to. I just know how it ends.

19:31 Speaker A
One of those three things.

19:33 Speaker B
That's a whole nother podcast.

19:40 Speaker C
I appreciate you, man. I have to do a quick commercial, but then I'm happy. Close this out with something strong, but.

19:51 Speaker B
Banamay it's. Mommy jealous.

19:56 Speaker C
I got one question before we get there. Where do you see yourself in the next five to ten years? Because I want.

20:09 Speaker A
I want to.

20:09 Speaker C
Be able to watch this five to ten years from today and say, yo.

20:17 Speaker A
Mike said he was going to be a billionaire.

20:20 Speaker B
Mike govtish came on billionaire five years ago.

20:25 Speaker C
Here we are.

20:27 Speaker A
Short, what do you say? Prayerfully, healthy.

20:38 Speaker B
Salama, happy short.

20:40 Speaker A
I want the people around me the same. And then of course it's all about of course that goal is to be a billionaire. But it's still what has to happen in me or the changes that have to happen in me.

21:14 Speaker C
Like five to ten years. Correct.

21:17 Speaker A
But what I really want to happen is several hundred millionaires.

21:26 Speaker B  *************************
Millionaire that come from what I put together as cheesy man cannot osamaskisano Omega Didam banome omega has satisfied millionaire as Barala Koliki man and John Mirambia catamalan in motion.

22:05 Speaker A
I don't say I my team and I put together because I can't do it by myself. Every person who has that B title, unless they inherited it and do about themselves, they got people around them. And I believe in the people around me coming up with me because they all play an integral, valuable part.

22:55 Speaker C
And these are all the people in the group chat?

22:56 Speaker A
These are people in the group.

22:57 Speaker B
Group Chat.

23:04 Speaker A
On a daily basis? Yeah.

23:08 Speaker C
All right, cool. You all heard it. Listen, I got to tell you about this organization, Mike.

23:16 Speaker A
I don't know if you know about it, but okay.

23:18 Speaker B
In Japan.

23:24 Speaker C
The morning meetup.

23:25 Speaker B
Have you heard about it? The Morning Meetup.

23:30 Speaker A
I've heard about it, yeah.

23:33 Speaker C
Morning meetup is amazing. So it's the morningmeetup.com. It's the only organization that gathers every single day for the uplifting and betterment of entrepreneurs. Right now, it's like between 455 hundred.

23:51 Speaker B
People on a call.

24:01 Speaker C
Every single morning. And I'm coaching, I'm teaching.

24:04 Speaker B
So we'll have a man who coach.

24:07 Speaker C
Theme for the month. Like this theme is dream big.

24:15 Speaker A
Okay. Or thinking bigger.

24:21 Speaker C
Thinking Bigger. And every day in the month supports the theme of the month. So it might be a topic on how to think strategically or whatever. And we're also reading a book together. We're reading who not how. Right now? This year we've read ten books so far.

24:47 Speaker B
It's Merkey tariq to Alan himself.

24:52 Speaker C
Datikita as a community. And I literally read zero books last year. So we got all of this in our group. So go to the Morningmeetup.com, will you come speak on the call one day?

25:08 Speaker A
Let me know.

25:09 Speaker B
Let me know, Miguel.

25:19 Speaker C
And you could join for a dollar, try for a dollar for seven days, see if you like it. If you don't, you could leave. If you want to stay, it's $79 a month.

25:26 Speaker A
After that.

25:30 Speaker B
As Mohabad mohi hashtag.

25:41 Speaker A
Powerful. And a piece of advice I would give to everybody, too. I read a ton of books. A goal would be like, two books a month. And then I thought about it. I said, okay, how can I get this mindset to transfer to other people, Miguel? And I said, Because most people are not going to read two books a month. And I said, all right.

26:24 Speaker A
So what I've done is I pick five books that had the most impact on my life, and I tell people to read those five books and study and dissect those five books. And then the last part is master the concepts in those five, because you can read 200 and not master any concept.

27:08 Speaker B
Thank you. Monk and Shama devista.

27:15 Speaker A
And put them into action. And you just read. You just call words. That's all you've done.

27:25 Speaker B
You call words.

27:30 Speaker A
You have not mastered the concept. Put them in action. So five books that I read master the concepts in them. One of them is a John Maxwell book. I Joke with John.

27:58 Speaker B
C. Maxwell has gave a John CELAM.

28:03 Speaker C
You know, my.

28:04 Speaker B
Next question, what are the five books? Pancha kitopchi.

28:10 Speaker A
Think and grow rich.

28:11 Speaker B
Think and grow rich. As Napoleon Hill has.

28:18 Speaker A
Rich dad, poor.

28:19 Speaker B
Dad rich dad, poor dad as Robert Kisaki.

28:25 Speaker A
How to win friends and influence people.

28:27 Speaker B
How to win friends and influence people. Chajuri garrett dustoni with aspirin. David miguel.

28:41 Speaker A
The 21 irrefutable laws of leadership.

28:44 Speaker B
221 irrefutable Laws of Leadership. Leadership as Johnson Maxwell.

28:52 Speaker A
Maxwell it changed. That book is responsible for $100 million.

29:06 Speaker B
Sad million dollars easily.

29:11 Speaker C
All right, Joe, that's the next book.

29:21 Speaker A
And the last book is sometimes I lose, sometimes I learn.

29:29 Speaker B
Sometimes I lose, sometimes I learn. Bazva.

29:37 Speaker A
That'S the name of the John Maxwell, too. Well, because it's leadership, and everything rises and falls on leadership.

29:54 Speaker B
Leadership has a leadership. Joy rochto Bola pina leadership. Shiva Thomas, did you know him?

30:01 Speaker A
Oh, yeah, I know. We've done some events together. What's that? We've done some events together. Yeah. Oh, wow. But there's one concept in John's book that says it changed the game for me. It says, the people look for the leader, saying it backwards. The leader creates the vision.

30:39 Speaker B
Leader vision.

30:41 Speaker A
Roharunkon and then he finds or attracts the people. The people find the leader, and then they buy into whatever his or her vision is. That one concept right there is $100.

31:06 Speaker B
Million in my phone. Batan hoy sad million dollar yes, because independent. And it was in the human over there.

31:13 Speaker A
Past I would always sell products when I network marketing, even in financial services now, I tell stories or show people what can happen for them. I create division.

31:37 Speaker B
Manda ishek Vijay then they say, I.

31:42 Speaker A
Want to be a part of that vision. When you do that, you don't have to sell. You don't have to do anything else to attract people because they're buying into your vision. Yeah, that's it.

32:03 Speaker C
Man thank you so much. Man for being on the podcast. This is well worth our wait with our schedules coming together, man. I really appreciate it.

32:18 Speaker A
And I appreciate you, man. Congratulations on everything you've done. Seriously. I tell you something else, man. To do what you do is not easy, at least. So somebody just pick up a mic and get in front of a camera and just start talking. Have you ever seen me do an Instagram Live? No. Or Facebook Live?

32:53 Speaker B
No. Your Facebook live? Facebook chim you're not?

32:57 Speaker A
I haven't done it. Wow. Because I think it's probably difficult and it's not saying I avoid difficult things.

33:09 Speaker B
It's like.

33:15 Speaker A
Man, it's just like not natural. Now, 100,000 on stage is great, but to you made this natural. For me, it was cool. It would be. Are you apprehensive at all by this?

33:45 Speaker B
Oh, no, this is good.

33:47 Speaker A
Yeah, definitely. I wanted to be a part of this just because of what I can learn from you and just, you know, now I might think I might do.

33:57 Speaker B
Instagram, give a hat and twitch the yacht.

34:10 Speaker A
But other than that, I've never.

34:12 Speaker B
Done that before because I think it's difficult.

34:18 Speaker A
And people who can do that and just pick the phone up and just start going, that's a talent.

34:28 Speaker C
Yeah. Million is pretty difficult, too. So that's why we go hang out together.

34:35 Speaker A
We're going to do something together.

34:37 Speaker C
Mike, thank you so much, man. Please close out, man. There's somebody that maybe was where you were before you became who you are today. Always been Mike Sims, but there was probably a transformation.

34:59 Speaker B
That transformation.

35:03 Speaker C
Happened at some point in your life. So how would you put a bow on this interview.

35:12 Speaker B
To that last Bona Damakijoma Has and Jay Shama hasan Emrus.

35:24 Speaker A
Well, a lot of times, especially in this social media world, you get caught up in what people are doing, what they're showing, and what you can see.

35:37 Speaker B
Social media.

35:44 Speaker A
And that's not even me in my world. I probably wouldn't even have social media if it weren't for my businesses because I remember just getting started and there were things I didn't want people to see.

36:09 Speaker B
Social media share.

36:12 Speaker A
And so if you're that person now, remember, a seed growing does not make a noise. Creation is silent. Is silent. If that tree falls or gets cut down, destruction is loud. So people can't see it. Right now, what you're creating, but just keep creating.

37:02 Speaker B
Keep doing what you're doing because it's happening.

37:06 Speaker A
It's growing, you're growing. So stay on it. Don't get caught up in social media. Don't get caught up in the cars and the homes and the trips and the lifestyle.

37:24 Speaker B
You stay on GoM Nashu to a machine. How lifestyle.

37:34 Speaker A
Your path. Keep doing what you're doing. Do what you do. Become better at what you do. Just stay consistent. Stay consistent. Stay diligent.

37:49 Speaker B
Stay consistent. Stay diligent. Diligent. Poor Shurbosh. Poor Talosh Bosch. Poor Hemat Bosch.

37:56 Speaker A
And never quit. You can't stop somebody that won't quit. You can't stop them. And then, of course, with all the tools that you have access to. Internet has made it simple.

38:13 Speaker B
Internet Hamishes or Sardecarde to become a millionaire.

38:18 Speaker A
I said simple, not easy.

38:20 Speaker B
Miguel simple has it's simple but not easy. Raw hatnest.

38:37 Speaker A
Because it's not easy to stay consistent.

38:44 Speaker B
It's not easy to stay diligent in Austunis keto Porsche. Not easy to stay focused in austunis.

38:54 Speaker A
Bemoni because a lot of us become victims of mass distraction.

39:03 Speaker B
Mass distraction.

39:07 Speaker A
And there are a lot of weapons of mass distraction that are a lot.

39:11 Speaker B
Of weapons of mass distraction. You see weapons of mass that are destruction in Kalamato. Weapons of mass distraction. Miguel hoyke.

39:34 Speaker A
Out there. When I got started in business, it used to be the TV.

39:41 Speaker B
Television Buddha.

39:42 Speaker A
We call it the electronic income reducer the TV. Now it's our phones. They're at our fingertips.

40:00 Speaker B
How was on Pat Bishop you can.

40:01 Speaker A
Get caught up on Instagram or Facebook and realize that you spent an hour or 2 hours just scrolling.

40:13 Speaker B
Instagram or Facebook.

40:18 Speaker A
Are you on somebody that's been tagged page? This and this and this. That's fine when you get to a point where you're using it as a platform, that was for you to generate money. But if you're not there yet, stop spending so much time becoming a victim of mass distraction.

40:57 Speaker B
Stay focused, keep creating and silent.

41:04 Speaker A
Till you get to the point where now you can start to show people some of the results that you're having. And then of course, the lifestyle and those things come. And remember, it all starts with personal growth and development.

41:24 Speaker B
Personal development.

41:26 Speaker A
Your philosophy. Because when your philosophy is right, your attitude is right, you're going to attract every single person that you need. That's going to help you with your goals. Last thing I'll say is write the goals down. There's magic when pen hits the paper.

42:00 Speaker B
Jody it's a form of.

42:08 Speaker A
Don'T put them in your phone. Everybody got a memo pad and all that in your phone. Write it down, put it in front of you, put it on the mirror.

42:17 Speaker B
In front of you in your car.

42:20 Speaker A
All these different things. And see it every single day. Because people, they see the testimony or they see the results. They don't see all the tests. And I remember when I got. I started years ago. I remember, funny story. I started my network marketing business with.

42:54 Speaker B
No network marketing.

43:00 Speaker A
No money got started and I had this girl we were starting to date at the time and she came over to my house and she didn't know that the lights had not been paid for. And so I had candles all around the house. And she thought it was a romantic evening. She thought it was, man, you're romantic and this and that. I'm like, yeah, I forgot to put one in the restroom though. She figured it out when she went to the bathroom, the light didn't work. The light didn't work.

43:59 Speaker B
And I told her, I said, this.

44:02 Speaker A
Is where I am right now. This is where I am. Next month will be different.

44:08 Speaker B
Mohabad betta.

44:10 Speaker A
I kept a positive attitude. We laughed about it. And we're still friends now, acquaintances now. And she said, because there will be people that come into your life. Remember, your brain is fertile. Anything you're allowed to plant, allow to plant into your brain. It will grow negative or positive.

44:49 Speaker B
Mohammed shaft to the Hindi.

44:56 Speaker A
She planted something in my head. She said, Mike, I know that you're going to be a multimillionaire because there is no one I know that is more ambitious, has the people skills and will attract the people around them that they need to go out and make it happen. Anytime I ever doubted it, I could just recall little things in my head that people sold into me along the way.

45:46 Speaker A
And those things will happen for you if you attract those right people. Get in the right environments, get in the right rooms, watch the podcast. I mean, I keep driving this home. If you watch the podcast by itself, he's giving you it's some call a million dollars worth of game. End of the show somewhere you give him two.

46:27 Speaker B
Podcast to be a David podcast. We'll call yours a billion dollars worth of games. Billionaires.

46:46 Speaker A
Because I've been on here now.

46:48 Speaker B
Thank you, man. In Jambia.

46:50 Speaker A
A billion dollars worth of game. Billion dollars worth of game. Yeah.

46:57 Speaker C
Mike says, thank you so much. Listen, we can't close it out.

47:00 Speaker A
No better than that.

47:04 Speaker C
How can they find you?

47:08 Speaker A
Mike Sims Worldwide on Instagram.

47:10 Speaker B
Mike Sims worldwide.

47:12 Speaker C
Mike, can we put some links to some investments? That again, I'm heavily it's not even heavy.

47:25 Speaker B
Madame alumni.

47:31 Speaker C
Depending on what you're talking about. But I got some money in one of the investment vehicles. Yeah, it's up like 60,000. Like up 60,000.

47:58 Speaker A
So that's pretty cool.

47:59 Speaker C
Right now, depending on when you see this, it might be a whole lot more.

48:03 Speaker A
But yeah, we'll create some links. Of course, legally there are things that we have to do before someone says, let me talk to you, things of that nature.

48:19 Speaker B
We got to know.

48:24 Speaker A
Who you are and you're not a member of a terrorist group or I'm joking, but not joking. Just that you are qualified and educated on some investment vehicles that we have access to. But yeah, absolutely. There it is with you, man. We haven't done anything together business wise. We got to put something together. I don't like that. I don't like it either, man. Yeah, make sure you follow my brother.

49:09 Speaker C
Mike since worldwide and we can't close it out. No, better than that. Do me a favor. Go get you some social proof. I need you to go build something, save the receipts, then take that information, bring it back to your community. And teach your community how you did what you did. That is the only way.

49:22 Speaker B
Our community lead by example. Jump.

49:36 Speaker C
We are out here.

49:37 Speaker A
Mike, I appreciate you, bro.

49:39 Speaker C
What's going on?
